How do you start a hardcore character? I’m SHD 343 and I still don’t have the option for a hardcore character smh

Best offensive skill for solo is the cluster seeker mine. On tier 2 it kills any red enemies and takes out armor on purples. With how many enemies there are sometimes, being able to kill 3 or 4 at once without taking any damage is #1

Starters guide? He doesn't even explain how to create a hardcore character or what it is? If you need a truly starters guide, this is not.

My first hardcore character died at only level 9. My question is, are you able to collect SHD Tech from side missions on a new hardcore character? My second time through, I’m not able to collect that SHD Tech. Just curious if you know or have heard of this

11. Don't make stoopid mistakes early on like accidentally crossing into higher level areas, after investing 23hrs. ( I know not a whole lot) and getting to level 17 like a dumb bunny I unlocked the Last Stop safe-house, I then took a break for a while and when I started back up i just ran out into the street like I owned the place, unbeknownst to me (I knew in the back of my mind but forgotten about it) I was now in a level 25 area, like the game sometimes does it drop spawned an elite hyena convoy right on top of me, out of reaction I started shooting (pretty much marshmallows) at them and one of the shock baton runners biotch slapped me ONE time into oblivion.....Sigh....I sat there in disbelief, what a dummy I said....

Finally started a hardcore game recently, with my husband, and we're currently at world tier 1, and neither of us have been able to buy the account shared stuff from Inaya... did they patch it out in the last few months?

just started doing a HC and after 3 hours im at level 18 love the group scaling its great and you progress very fast if you have a decent group off course ;-)

Around level 8 you can get a blueprint for the M4 assault rifle from the campus from a project, ive been running with that ever since. Make a new one every 2-3 levels. Im on my third hardcore character and im at level 22, farthest ive gotten.

The purpose is to help each other to do missions and be able to survive. if any of you guys want to join us and have fun check our clan. The name of the clan is Sleeper Agent X.

i didn't get the option to share blueprints/mats. she has never had it for sale.

I prefer my Hardcore build a bit "tankier": 4 piece Foundry, Memento, Ceska + Unbreakable. Revivor Hive + Crusader shield.

I shared materials with my regular agents so that my Hardcore would have access to the base materials necessary to craft Foundry gear before tackling Liberty Island.

I’m running a hardcore character to get top commendation scores, i only miss those ones of the hardcore. Do you know if, having the dlc WoNY i still get the commendation to get to 500 gear score? Is there any way to unlock that one?

One simple tip: DO NOT DO HARDCORE! All it takes is one errant bullet, or disconnect to fuck you up and make you wipe!

I'm at level 25 on ps4, I've managed to successfully matchmake on 3 missions only upto now . That's disappointing for me as I don't like solo all the time

If you need a raid group for hardcore let me know I have a bunch of guys going for the commendation. We are going to farm builds for a lvl 30 raid then practice on our main agents.

Best way to lvl up is in the dz dangerous but worth it

I've tried to level 3 different hardcore characters. One killed by a gas grenading world boss on Tier 4. The other two killed after I got disconnected. I gave up.

May I ask how the heck you have 6 DPS core attributes with 1 Armor core attribute with 1 Skill core attribute???! That’s 8 total. How??

After losing my Hardcore char because the server disconnected (in the middle of a fight with several npcs) I will never play this mode again.

A few points of your video were decent, some were inaccurate.
Having Run a Hardcore toon since Early last year, and recently completed the Hardcore Dark hours Raid, AND that we level other people through Hardcore content weekly, here are a few edits to your info:

Rule Zero: Never Farm Alone.. that said...

1) First skill: recommend Turret or Drone
- Turrets do more damage than you do, draw aggro and can be recovered.
- Drones do more damage than you, draw aggro and are highly portable
- Revive hives are notorious for failing when you need them most, or being destroyed by enemies - use at your own risk

2) Great point on the Perks to get (unlocked after completing ANY Skill-giving mission - the ones with the yellow triangles).
- Inventory, XP boosts, Armor kits, Armor kits refills, and weapon mods are our favorites to grab first

3) You said your "unbreakable" procs a lot - that's REALLY not a good thing.. The idea is to NOT get shot.
I, personally, Run a shield and drone - Drone for the extra DPS, Shield for the extra layer of armor/portable cover (So i run Vanguard on my chest.. )

4) That brings us to the next point - you made no mention of a back-pack skill. Bonus Armor (the BLUE armor bars) are your FRIEND .
- Bloodsucker / Adrenaline Rush are great for keeping your armor topped off, thus preventing the proc of your unbreakable as often as possible

5) You said once you hit 30, you can get Spec and/or go to NYC - That's really not accurate..
- LVL 30 - unlocks the Capitol once you clear DUA and Roosevelt Island Strongholds
- LVL30, World tier 1 (beating Capitol) unlocks your Specialization (Gunner and/or Tech are both great for HC - i run both for a DPS and tank builds respectively)
- World Tier 2 (you have to beat at least 2 invaded missions and their Stronghold) to Unlock shared Account recipes and resources
- World Tier 5 (Beating ALL 6 Invaded Missions, ALL 3 Strongholds AND Tidal Basin SH) allows you to go to NYC.

6) Speaking of WT5: once you get there - do the following:
- Complete the lvl 30 SHD Requisition Cache quest - free exotic - no reason to NOT get it, can be upgraded to lvl 40 once you beat Keener
- Get the Exotic holster Quest from Crafting Bench Lady - when yo go to NYC, you get ALL the exotic parts to craft it (minus the brand-name holsters)
- Be sure to sell off al the sub-30 crap you may have collected. You'll need the $$ in NYC to recalibrate ASAP (recommend about 50,000)

7) You mentioned that you don't want to do the Shared account resources - dude, that's only hurting you..
- Before World Tier 2, you can get the perk to max out your resource carrying capacity. Max em out if possible
- When you DO get the shared account resources, you can log into any other toon and (like a lvl 40) and see (in the misc Watch category for example) that you'll be "overloaded" with said resources. (you'll have more than the "max" limit of each one)

8) Speaking of recalibration and resources, try to group up with another HC player that has unlocked and/or get your recalibration table ASAP
- Recal table unlocks after completing 3 of 4 of the Campus Settlement upgrade missions (Bank, DCD, Lincoln Memorial or Potomac Even Center)- Emma is the lvl 3 Campus upgrade)
- Recalibrate a minimum of 2-3 items to the max lvl 30 value of 42,000 armor. This will make you nigh invincible. Paired with Bloodsucker (armor on kill) or Adrenaline Rush (bonus armor for being close to an enemy), you'll rarely need to worry about armor / unbreakable procs

9) Maximize XP gains: Run with a crew.. The scaling will be MUCH faster than solo
- Best mix: Level 30, World Tier 5 map, Lvl 40 player in party, 4 man crew..
- you'll get 1600xp per Red kill, 2400XP per elite kill. Granted, Armor scaling is a bit touchy, but the 40 "Shepard" REALLY should be doing the heavy lifting anyway
- We have taken BRAND NEW lvl 2 toons (you'll ALWAYS be lvl 2 when you reach the White House the first time) Running with a group and hitting level 12 by the end of Either Tidal Basin or Federal Emergency bunker (Fed bunker also gives SHD cache points for your perks / extra skills)

10) On the Keener fight, have you or your partner load up your weapons with shock rounds. Once he emerges, one of you shock him, sparingly, while the other burns him down (that pestilence you have would be great for this) and try an EMP jammer pulse to get rid of his drones / prevent the shock when he leaves


Again, Love your content, use a variation of your "Chatter Fury" build (Use HF with a Shield and Scorpio or CB) in Hardcore Content, the DH Raid and Leveling Runs

I started my hardcore way back, still have the same one and havent died yet. Still havent finished DC. Only play for a while and stop before i get too complacent and make that fatal mistake.

What about classified gears?

I'm on my 1st HC character and at SHD level 40. Bloodsucker and perfect Bloodsucker on my BP has been a big bonus
