2021 Cadillac Escalade vs 2021 Yukon Denali, here's why I would take the Yukon Denali.

They are no longer the same vehicle, the xperience of the escalade is on a higher level.

I prefer the Yukon Denali over the Cadillac Escalade. They both are good looking SUV's but the Yukon is a better bargain. It's not a hard decision at all.

Seems you deliberately chose not to do side by side comparison of their interiors but fact is that GMC’s is not even in the same league as the Escalade. This isn’t one of those cases where you’re paying more for just the name.

This “comparison” is grossly misleading as there are quite a few more features that the top trim Escalade offers that you just cant get in the GMC. Super Cruise is one of them, then there’s the ambient lighting, massaging seats, HUD, night vision, refrigerated center console, interior motion detection, and a superb AKG sound system with 36 speakers - just to name a few. Hell, the Escalade even smells more luxurious with its semi aniline leather and Alcantara headliner. Obviously some may not care about that stuff, but those who can actually afford the upgrade typically find those added luxuries and aesthetics more than justify the extra cost. As with anything, you gotta pay to play.

I work at a dealership. And to be honest, the Denali is basically the same damn thing. You can get everything from super cruise, magnetic air ride, TV's, automatic running boards and everything else you can get in an Escalade you can get in a Denali. Escalade a purely a status symbol for 20k more. You should see the shallow look on my customers faces when they cant afford an Escalade and I recommend a High country Tahoe or Denali. They appear offended and even insulted; and its the same vehicle minus the grille and emblems. How shallow people are over status are in what they drive is absolutely abhorrent.

I heard new Yukon, Escalade, and Tahoe all have issues with power steering. I would probably choose Navigator.

I might have missed this point if you mentioned it, but the key reason why I bought my 02, 07, 15 and 21 escalade over the denali was the resale value. the market of folks that want a used escalade over a used denali. You also recoup much more of the initial price. I also like the extra features.

I like the Yukon Denali and the Cadillac Escalade equally as far as looks and features. With that said of course I'd pick the Yukon Denali over the Cadillac Escalade because it's not as expensive.

So bottom line is you'd buy the GMC because it's cheaper, but then you may as well just buy the Chevrolet. You've taken a weird middle-of-the-road approach on this IMO. Love my GMC Sierra 2500 Denali, but if they made a Cadillac Escalade version of my truck I'd buy that instead.

Nah, say whatever you want but at the end of the day the Caddy just rides smoother. It's worth the $$$ for not just that but the more unique and sleeker aerodynamics and the interior will hold up better in the long run vs the GMC, not too mention when you go platinum you get features not available in the GMC

Cadillac have always been some of the best driving cars...Good review I'm always on the fence between the two..Especially in late models.

I have a 2006 ESV Escallade and know exactly what you’re talking about on how it feels like a SUV and smaller than it actually is for its massive size. The handling is great in my old one and can only imagine what the new one feels like! 😳 Once you get an Escallade you will not ever down grade because you’ll be use to the smooth ride and handling for its size. The luxury items are a plus, for sure.
