How to Upgrade to Server 2019

how to fix ¨Keep personal files and apps¨ disable from the setup installer 2016/2019 running from Win server 2012 R2 ?

When I upgraded from 2012 R2 to 2019, it did not allow me to keep my files. I read elsewhere that to do a migration, you have to upgrade from 2012 R2 to 2016, then 2019. So unfortunately, this video is misleading.

🔰 I’m sorry, I find this to be an immature video in terms of its uselessness. There’s more to upgrading a server OS, especially a production server. Many times, fraught with driver and services issues among other things. This video has no substance in those terms, nor speaks to licensing variables, applications affected, down time, etc...
