How Changing Demographics are Shaping European Politics

Democracy is a definition and no thing of likelyhood of breeds!

The only reason there is a demographic transition is because European governments and supranational governments want it to be so. They could easily promote higher birth rates, but unfortunately view people as little more than things to be counted on a spreadsheet, and wish to alleviate the low birth rates by importing people, like they would import grain to solve a food shortage rather than grow crops. It is a most inhuman view, and governments (both national and supranational) should seek to scrap it so that it can be replaced with a pro-nativist outlook.
