Well considering that these countries were created by the French to begin. I am not surprised that they are moving towards changing into one nation. It is interesting to see as nations disappear and new ones come into existence. I think that 200 nations should be the maximum that should exist at any giving time on this planet. Anymore would cause more issues than good.

I'm not a fan of all the military dictatorships or Russian influence in the region, however on the other hand the french government is still quite exploitive to the region and their weakened influence can be a good thing.

Very biased video. Just because the west and some of their puppet countries in Africa don’t like it doesn’t mean no one likes it. Difference between the french and Russian relationship with African countries is that only the fringe benefit financially and politically from the relationship while with Russia the relationship is mutually beneficial through fair trade etc. The big crowds of anti-French and pro Russian protesters in those countries is telling. the only reason why other countries are opposed to it is because 3 army men are showing up degree having civilians. the African and his ego that is what we are experiencing right now. We have seen Rwanda transform under another brilliant military leader regardless of the external factors that plaque him that country under his supervision has had a remarkable turn around. The so called democratic African countries are visibly corrupt and their leaders are not civic minded, these leaders lack vision and are still enslaved mentally with the belief that Europeans are superior to them in intellect. If Africa had 25 leaders that showed bravery and resisted bending the knee, it would be a continent so far advanced Europeans would be leaving Europe on anything smoking to invest in Africa or try to colonize what they can.

When the new puppet Nigerian government threatened war against Niger after the coup, probably seeking legitimacy from the west since he forced himself into power and Nigerians largely hate him, nigerians protested against the war and the senate voted against it.

To many of us, africa is resetting itself, alliance of sahel states is basically the return of the Mali and songhai empire territorial borders.

Apart from the ECOWAS traitors and Western puppets, the rest of Africa is behind the 3 Sahel States, Mali, Faso and Niger, and approves of their anti imperialist alliance. . I'm European and support this. African nations need to be independent from us in order to become sustainably prosperous.

Indonesia and India can pull it off so maybe they can too, but I would like to say that putting a lot of people with different backgrounds together is going to be a very difficult challenge.

This confederation is the best news coming out of Africa since the European invasion in the 17th century when massive manpower was abducted from the African shores followed by destruction of its institutions, genocide of its people and theft of its resources and land! All members of the African diaspora must pray for the success of this confederacy and indeed inclusion of as many neighboring countries as possible. It seems the King of Morroco, the head of Lybia are interested in joining. My greatest disappointment is in newly elected Senegal president Faye, President of Guinea Doumbouya and of course Nana from Ghana have revealed themselves to be puppets of colonial rule. There seems to be a problem with the electoral process where seemingly puppets win? Perhaps military rulers are needed until the Continent is finally freed from its Northern and Western invaders!

They don't have any never did have resources to barter with. Same for all of Europe. That's why they strong armed and took resources from the start. It's a very good thing. Why should it be that France should control African countries? Every Nation should rule themselves according to their own dictates, as sovereign nations without the control of outside forces.
