GTA 6's RAGE 9 Engine is BETTER than Unreal Engine 5???!!

Well , if RAGE will be in terms of graphics as good as UE5 then thats incridibly more than enough since rockstar always polish all apsects of the game , movement , physics , camera , gameplay details which together makes the graphics even feels more better and the game more realistic.
but in real-life scenario I'm not expecting GTA 6 to have that much fidelty the ue5 can provides due to performance and scalebility. however , around a week now to see the first trailer of the game , hepefully it will be another tech leap

I think what we saw on the leaks is more or less what were getting and i do think the map with be smaller

I feel like they purposefully leaked the ‘gta 6’ gameplay so ppl would be thinking it doesnt look that great and when they release we will be mind blown . I say this bc the gameplay that was leaked looked very much like gta v

16k textures lol, what ever no PC on the planet is going to run that on 16k textures. Its rock star, and look at GTA5, the single player of GTA6 is going to be a banger and super BUT the online is going to be 100% grind fest and greedy prices on all stuff... can't wait for the mod menu kids "because they did nothing for cheating in GTA5 so GTA6 cheating will be out of control too".

Engine in gta iv was better than V . GTA V lacked alot . GTA IV didnt have the graphics but the mechanics and engine run was 10x better

as far as the map changing goes based on weather effects & events, i think that their construction sites like the ones in gta 5, should progress over time. there is a cul-de-sac in mirror park, gta 5, which has been a construction site since the game came out lol. i think these construction sites could see gradual progress over a set amount of real world time, maybe even having new buyable houses/apartments/offices/businesses show up on completed building sites and so forth. a continuously changing map is one thing R* failed at in gta 5, and as an open world game, changing the map as the game ages is something that not only FEELS real, but it keeps players engaged and immersed in the world as it's forever changing and isn't just the same old stuff for the next 10+ years wherever you look. i have a bunch of other expectations too, but i don't actually expect them lol. dayz-like player survival mechanics would be amazing in a next gen gta, things like thirst and hunger, stat buffs & defects are based on consumed food/drink. sickness & medicine. weather affects body temperature, requiring warm clothes in the cold and less clothes in the heat. movement speed & sprint duration determined by weight of clothes & held inventory items. cars have usable trunk space. players can only carry a primary, secondary, and sidearm with any throwables requiring a military vests, the more pockets/inv space, the pricier the vest; this will make heists, preps, or just missions in general more strategic & team based. campfire building with hunting & cooking. i'd like to see online pet owning with trainable pet abilities, like attack, stop attacking, come here, stay, & other pet commands. pets could also have a life-span, so you never have the same one forever. fully usable public transport from busses, trains, taxis (of course), & even plains; all being a usable form of fast travel/teleporting if you cba to drive/fly. these are the big things i'd love to see in gta 6, but i know not even a fraction of this stuff will probably happen.

I think they will add hurricanes because there are hurricanes in Florida

I am expecting detailed nightsky, better in rdr2, as well as detailed landscapes, npcs, vehicles, buildings etc. I barely trust in devs, but Rockstars is an exception. I wasnt happy with gta5, nothing for me. But boy i played rdr2 and played it for many days. Rdr2 is like the only reason for me to play gta 6. I just hope they make the game very big, and the mainstory very very long, hopefully min. 6 times longer than rdr2 story. I hope there will be lots of side missions too. If needed, take more time, Rockstargames. It will be worth it. I know gta6 will make history.

No way GTA6 will work at these graphics on current consoles. Maybe it will be exclusive to the PS5 Pro and PC... they would be powerful enough for something better than Unreal Engine 5... but xbox and normal PS5? No way. Maybe at 30 fps 1080p maximum with a lot of downgrading and optimisation but even then...

The difference between 12k and 16k textures doesn't do anything besides making extremally close objects sharper... Also its a lot easier to have destructible environments in the story map than in a multiplayer map as multiplayer alone is already more taxing on hardware let alone with destruction..

This game is being made with a 10 year span in mind. That means, that they probably have made it modular to support, graphics updates, multiplayer and DLC updates as seemlessly as possible. I really expect GTA 6 to be a very dynamic game in the next 10 years, from every component of it.

I love that I am hearing that they are focusing on realism. A GTA game with the realism of Red Dead Redemption 2 would be insane.

There is a catch for extremely high details and features in a game: The storage becomes too high. If you say gta 5 has fewer features compared to gta 6, then think of gta 6's storage! Considering gta 5 on its own is about 90gb
