The dialogue feels like conversations with characters from old Harry Potter games

the issue IMO is not audio level compression, is data compression (it sounds like a low bitrate mp3 file), and the lack of ambiance/early reflections

yeah, the dialogue and facial animations are iffy, but i'm happy with that being my only big concern. the combat, world design, and field guide content look phenomenal. i really can't wait for this game ugh... it's going to destroy my social life.

That compression may well be applied to the master of the stream. The studio guests all sounded pretty heavily compressed too. I'm sure there's some compression applied to the voice actors in the game already, and doubling up on compression could be why it sounded so strong.

Those face animations are janky af, also the constant giggling between everyone on set was awkward. Just give us a scripted presentation so i can actually watch without rolling my eyes.

I fully agree with everything you said, I expected to be disappointed by the combat, but I’m pleasantly surprised, and the vibe feels very true to the source material, this has calmed my mind a bit on this being a solid HP universe game, I enjoyed the old ps2 ones but this is the dream game in this universe it seems

This is one of my most anticipated releases of next year, its looking good so far.

The dialogue is the opposite of Witcher 3

I love that they’re doing it in a more organic way. Like actually having someone in the room playing it instead of a prerecorded thing they react to. It shows that the game is most likely gonna be playable when it drops.

Game studios are more willing to show their games off when they are confident in their work. My main concern is world size. I'm hoping it's as large as Skyrim and I'm expecting its as large are the Hinterlands are in Dragon Age 3. My fear is that it will only as large as maybe a Star Wars Fallen Order planet.

Some flaws but this game seems really good. Looking forward to it.

Honestly if my only problem with the game is that the dialog audio is too compressed and the lip sync looks a bit weird then I'd say that's a win in my book.

guessing owl post is probably messages. It sounds like you work with teachers and stuff. Im betting it's a way to track "messages" or letters from npcs or quest givers

Honestly makes me more excited for this game seeing just how passionate the devs are about it. Super excited for when this drops, hopefully it’s as good as it looks 🙌🏻

Yeah the facial animation sadly reminds me of what we've seen in ME Andromeda which is not a good sign, hope they can polish it if the game hasn't gone gold already

The Audible Mic doesn't really bother me. they did the best they could with very limited resources.
I'm happy and impressed.

I worry that they might take out content for dlc I know they haven't confirmed that but this seems like the type of open world game that would end up with a ton of dlc story like assassin's creed
