Before COVID my partner and I were looking for wedding venues and we had so many beautiful options in Chicago for $95,000 for 150 guest, at some point the hotel person in charge of my wedding had so many terrible expensive ideas, a $13,000 wedding cake that was not just ugly but they would offer a cake testing.

I got engaged last month but we are having a long engagement so we can afford more of a wedding. We’re going to get married at a Registry office with the family ( siblings parents, nieces and nephew ) then have a big outside reception. As his mom owns a lot of land in the countryside.
