DJI Mini 2 | Firmware Update V1.03.0000

Can you expound one the elastic band around the charger thing? I just got my mini 2 and immediately updated it (but didn’t know about doing each battery! Glad I watched this video. I only had 1 done!) just curious what that is about though? Good video. Subbed.

Is it possible that they could do an update in the future to where the mini 2 follows you or is that beyond the scope of an update ?

I'm using mini 2 for last 6 months, so far very good experience, but recently having some issues..

while flying at a very short distance 10m to 50m or sometime less distance i found very low signal strength followed by aircraft not connected with RC/ RC signal lost warning, At that point i have no control over my drone then it return to its home point automatically which is quiet frightening may crash anytime.

i assume it all started after downloading latest firmware version and its not a hardware issue as i never crash my drone.
Point to be noted this problem occured suddenly.

Action done:
1. Cleared Cache of the fly app but problem persists.
2. Reinstalled the dji fly app but problem remains
3. Used old version of app but not solved
4. Downgraded the firmware version by using dji assistant 2 but no result
5. Used different phone and connector still the same..
6. Tried to fly the drone at different location but effort went in vain.

If anyone having same issue with dji mini 2 please give a penny for your thought regarding this matter.

Can you please explain exactly what you mean when you say that you must cycle all of the batteries for them to be updated? Does this need to be done while the update is being loaded, or do you mean that one simply must install each battery following the update and fly for a while, or what? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am definitely a newbe here

I'm really annoyed because the option to turn on or off the iPhone charge is no longer available since last updates and this last one does not fix that issue.
If my remote is 25% charged and my iPhone 95% what sense does it make, using the remote control battery to charge the phone?
Charging the iPhone while flying in warmer weather overheats the phone and it's even worse if the screen brightness is at maximum.
I've already talked about this on the DJI forums but apparently they don't care about it.

This is not a major update for most of us. Its more an update to counter bug's in previous versions.

So you can store the Battery without any problems in the drone or in the charging hub now?

DJI Fly 1.4.4 just showed up in my iPhone app updates, anyone else see it?

Please check it with the smart controller. Mine was not the result I expected....better then the result with the Air 2S but not same as the normal controller !!!

is there any way to check that my battery firmware has been upgraded? because 2 of my batteries have been upgraded I did them manually, but the third one does not show to "battery firmware update available" any help would be appreciated.

Since I updated the last firware/fly app 1.4.2, my quick transfer stopped working and so did exposure lock in video mode, photo mode exposure lock works by tapping the screen...I think I will have to send it back to DJI as I cant fix these issues...and have tried everything.

I’ve been wanting a SC for my Mini 2 since getting it but I’m super on the fence right now after more reports of it being laggy/jittery and having reduced range/connection. The tech inside them is quite old now and I’m wondering whether to just upgrade my iphone 11 to something with a better screen or see if Apple release the new iPad Mini. Love the idea of the SC but its not cheap and these reports are really putting me off.
