DRC always fascinates me cause I love google maps but it's rare or mostly impossible to see most of DRC there. There is a town called Uvira that has some.

I am looking forward to DRC breaking free from shackles of corruption / crime and prospering. I believe they are 99% good people. That is human nature of course, you only need 1% to be bad and a place can become bad to live in. We shouldn't look down on them, we should will them to do their best and prosper.

Any country can prosper if it just goes in the right direction.

Don't forget even in the west we're only 1-2 thousand years off ourselves from being dirt dwelling peasants. Which is like the flick of a finger if you look at the timescale of life on earth.

For some perspective on that timescale, dinosaurs dominated earth for 165 million years. We only wrote something for the first time 5,000 years ago.

I read this blog about a couple that did a road trip from onside of the Congo to the other. It was very interesting and now I’m interested in the DRC

DRC fascinates me, I long to go there one day.
