I'm going to quit my job and work at a coffee shop, but the application asks for my previous employer and contact number. I need her to write well of me so I can get the job. But after I get the job and quit my current one, I want to write my boss a letter, finally standing up to her for her toxic behavior. Is it risky? Can she just contact the coffee shop and tell them what I wrote to her? She needs to hear how she made me feel weak and stupid and undermined.

My boss has poor communication skills, it's creating a problem for me and some of my coworkers.... I think the solution is she take some management courses 😅

An issue I've encountered with also having a solution is working for a boss who is not as goal oriented as you. I will say no more to refrain from sounding self aggrandizing, but there will be times when you are on a certain path and it seems even the people "above you" are too complacent in their own journey to understand your burning drive. This is when you have to realize working for someone else has finally become a true bottleneck to your success and it's time to become your own employer

Always learning new skills will leave you with little time to master any of the skills you already have. People need to master something valuable before they just go off willy-nilly learning new skills. I have no idea what Peterson's pseudo-religious bullshit is doing in here. No rational person needs or wants that stupid bullshit amymore.
