It’s been theorized that as the technology is growing such that CG will be able to achieve a false manufactured “reality” that therefore we likely are already in and part of a simulation. If so, is that simulation within a simulation? Or must it be in reality regardless? Even a simulation is really happening in some way, and some universalities will always apply.

I think it looks more realistic close up than far away because of small physics and shading things that just aren't perfect

If you watched an entire CGI variation of this, in about 20 minutes, you'd completely forget that it's CGI. I don't need games to have hyper-photorealistic graphics with UHD textures and run a constant 240FPS, online features, and DLC to be good. If you look at some of the timeless classics, those don't look even close to realistic, but no one ever complains about them. Like Tekken 3 for example. One of the greatest fighting games ever was on the PS1 of all things. CTR for the PS1, best kart racer, etc. Another classic would be SM64. But if you want to go OLDSCHOOL classic, games like Spider Solitaire are as simple as you can get with little to no features at all, yet regarded as the best. So what's the obsession with games today having the "best" graphics, "the best framerate & textures". Kids today will look at you like you're from Pluto if you say graphics don't make a game good or bad. It's the story, characters, lore, and gameplay.

So where to download Keanu Reeves? lol...

CGI looks terrible still. Why not use deep live deep fake in games?

It's gotten better, but it's still not there. It's not just about the look... Our eyes see human beings everyday. Going to be tough to fool them.

I don't care if the faces aren't perceived as real, what worries me is that in the games they are just parrots repeating the same loop of phrases, at best they are actors stuck in their script.

I hope they start researching AI and voice synthesis once and for all.

How do we know who we are?

It’s the mouth. If you want to make CGI look real you have to master the muscles inside, outside and around the mouth.. especially the lips. That must be the hardest parts because of all the moving parts.

On Jada Pinkett's IG she does an interview with Keanu - he must be CGI in that one. Please let me know what you think. It's so weird

CGI is almost realistic oh my goodness. More mouth sensitivity. And they can creat a realistic CGI

I thought it was kinda funny how they tried to sneak in the cgi so it would make you suprised when u find out it wasn't real. Like..... lol I can see those dead eyes from miles away cgi is still not even close to realistic imo the lighting and eyes are always dead giveaways. Still would love to play a game like this though

The thing is, this isn’t super pre-rendered CGI, correct me if I’m wrong but this is a graphics engine rendering or at least had rendered that stuff in real time

I'd say I notice the difference when compared but if they weren't side-by-side I might be easily fooled
