BEST OLED TV 2023 SONY A80L VS LG C3 #oled #4ktvtest

Okay, so the Sony definitely has the edge in upscaling and generally color accuracy when sitting side by side. But for most people either TV will be a great upgrade. I went with the C3 77” and its picture is far better Thani need. I saved over $500 compared to the Sony. No regrets.

LG is best of all time and sony produce a over warm colour

Just got the Sony A80L and was thinking about returning it for the LG C3. This video was a huge help because, though the Sony lacks certain features the LG has, Sony's ability to maintain the image detail in default Vivid mode here satifies my concerns.

This video is best watched on mute. Use more laid back background music. The Sony picture looks more natural, while the LG is just pushing peak brightness and overblown colors.

someone explain to me why in that vegas/welcome flashing billboard sign, you can barely read it for the C3? the A80L and S90C look great with that. this is the only time i see the C3 look worse than the S90C IMO and it's giving me pause

Pues si, Sony tiene mejor calidad de detalles con LG los brillos son mas pronunciados y en ciertas tomas me gusto, en lo personal preferiria el Sony pero su precio tmb es mas elevado con lo cual ahi dependera de cada uno.

I went to a showroom today and saw both A80L and C3 and finally i can saw my heart wants sony but my wallet says lg is cheaper.😂 But yes Sony is crystal clear and detailed . Lg can't match that detail quality as of now

This is the worst possible comparison. Where is cinema mode and game mode? Everyone knows that the sony processor is the best in the world but from there to compare in vivid mode and in addition with image cuts on which we do not know if the modes have not been changed in the meantime it is bad faith.

Wow the Sony looks so much better. The images are also three dimensional compared to the LG. LG appears flat and overly saturated by comparison. Way more details from the Sony. But the red colors look odd on the Sony.

From what I've seen in this video Sony has detail while LG has brightness. In terms of flaws i dislike how LG fills the picture with the color of the object in focus. In the clip of the the sunflower, LG picture seemed too yellow and warm while Sony maintained each object in the frame with it's original color. Sony flaws are in terms of low peak luminance and this especially for 2023 OLED... c'mon Sony , LG lacks MLA and heatsink but still is able to compete with the A90j.

Comparing TVs in Vivid mode tells me all I need to know. You’re completely clueless. This channel is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

You cannot compare TVs in their Vivid mode, it will only show you what specific algorithmic choices each manufacturer makes to artificially boost brightness and colour saturation to the max.
It basically just shows you which manufacturer is willing to go more ridicolous with these boosts.

If you want to know which TV is better, you have to compare them in their most accurate mode or maybe cinema mode which only alters the picture slightly. Then you see which TV has better(= more natural) colours, better shadow detail and better highlights (= brighter, and more detail in the highlights), better gradiation etc..
So my recommandation: compare them in Filmmaker/cinema home (LG) and Custom/Imax enhanced (Sony).

Just my advice. Compare both in the most accurate mode. Use filmmaker mode on LG. Use custom mode on Sony.
