What would be the first thing you tell a new player when they jump in?

As a new player to eso, can't thank you enough for the content you have provided us. Any chance you could post your suggestion for the first hour of gameplay in 2023?

Starting quest for level 3 takes about an hour.

Dumb question how come you are on a new character and your map shows every location?

first hour of gameplay for me was.. quitting... 8 months later i try again... im now level 24 DK high elf (after 6 days of playing) and love the game more than any game iv played in quite some time! ironic i know

I started this game 3 days ago and hoped this would be helpful but it feels like a video for an alt after messing up your true first character. Most of this stuff totally flies over my head. This isn't a video for beginners. Heck after having done the tutorial I still dont know if I picked the right starting zone. I had a room full of choices and its all so confusing starting in 2023

Ya this IS not a beginner's guide, I am a true beginner and after watching 16 minutes of your so-called beginners guide, I am more confused and so overwhelmed on what to do or look for or where to get specific info and etc. No! This guide is more for people that know this game somewhat and want to better their character for a true beginner like myself I found this video and what your explaining and all the cuts from what you could be showing what and why you're doing what you're doing to be no good to a true beginner but I shall remember what you tried to convey and put my first foot forward and get to it.

I know I'm 2 years+ behind, but I just got this game and needed some advice on what to do so I don't waste time in getting what would help me in game when I could get it, instead of walking past something I should be investigating to get that certain something that would aid me. This is so alien and so Much content to me coming from WoW and Baldurs G3 even back in my grammar school days of the Hard back books, pencil, paper and dice of the original D&D game, but I have a somewhat of a clue.
I appreciate videos of any kind to assist someone to get the best experience they can get. Thank You

how do you see quest on the map like this?

I still remember the first time I played it. Believe me, it was very frustrating.

every time I create a new character should I do the same ?
unlock these three guilds ?
having to repeat the same quests is not cool

My first hour was spent figuring out why my mouse sensitivity kept spiking up periodically 🤣

Reducing polling rate to lowest setting fixed it

Are you using a mod or something to show all quests on the map with yellow exclamation points, or is this an in-game setting that's toggled somewhere?

How would I begin to create an epic stamblade character, for later content ofc, that wants to focus on Dro mAthra gear? I want to use dual daggers, with maybe a secondhand bow.

I’m aware a lot of players might have alternative opinions on how to build an epic stamblade character but these are the pre-requisites I’ve listed above for my build.

I eventually want everything Dro mAthra ie. Gear, Mount, Pet, Skin…everything. I know it may be a long, long way down the track but that’s what I’m hoping to achieve.

While in Balfiera, take Light, Medium and Heavy armor. Don't waste any time, progress all Armor skill lines right since the start!

5 mins in and lost

I did get full inventory in the first area of the game.

I'm a complete newbie who just purchased the necrom deluxe set and I do show Greymore unlocked in the store but not on my map. So I skipped to the next map you visited in Auridon, not finding the person in a hoodie. So far as a newb, this isn't helping me.

Just bought "The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: High Isle" and I'm a bit worried, as I've watched a couple of different videos that are "beginner guides" and the game seams quite complicated and complex. I really appreciate you putting together these guides and playlist, as I think it will likely help me to feel a bit less overwhelmed with the game. I'm going into this game 100% blind as I've never even played any of the Elder Scrolls games before. So I'm really grateful for the guides and hope that they will help me ease into this game a bit more smoothly. Your work is much appreciated! Thank you!

Im sorry but this is is a bad guide for actual beginners, 75% of the things you say are gibberish to me. This is more like an alt guide for people who know the game. Keep it simple, don't assume we know all the terms and places.

About 90% of the nouns used in the first 2 minutes of this video are meaningless to beginners.

How do you pull up the minimap? The only map option I've found so far is pulling up the full screen map.

So I was just about following the tutorial until you got to the crafting certification, I have no idea where I'm supposed to go to start it, or who I'm supposed to speak to. Rushed guide imo and not really brand new player friendly.

I went to fighters guild in Daggerfall. Lyris Titanborn is there to talk to, but I can't join the FG. On another character I think I remember tjust walking in and a dialogue that ended in an invitation to join. Did I miss something?

You are talking about guilds teleporting quests and all other names and expect someone who never played this will understand?
