My problem is sometime my "q" key doesn't click. I have to click 2 or 3 time for it to work.

i have an issue where when i click the w key it doesnt type just w it types e and then w for some reason and i tried this and it didnt fix it, does somebody myb have an explanation why it does that its very annoying

I had a chattering problem with the "S" key on my keyboard, and I purchased and used 99% alcohol, just like in this video.
After a few minutes of using the alcohol, the chattering was noticeably reduced, and after half a day, chattering problem was 99% gone.
I thought about going to A/S, but I didn't have a replacement keyboard in the meantime, so I used this solution.
When I first saw this video, I was skeptical, but it ended up solving this annoyance!

alcohol is a solvent and you should never use 99% alcohol on plastic it will ruin many. 70% is usually enough, just wait it out. longer drying times are more worthwhile than permanent damage

I didn't have the alcohol thing so I just decided to use my hair dryer to blow the dust out and surprisingly it worked!

I was skeptical at first but it actually worked for my mechanical that was double typing on "T"

Nah man this method murdered the key that I was trying to fix

I didnt want to poure a loads of alcohol into my keyboard, so i just blown wery hard in the switch and it also worked

so prolly not super smart idea to use acetone for the rubber inside the keycap but its what i had and it worked lol thank you

Btw if none of these methods work and you just have a faulty switch and you want a quick fix use this software called filter keys this makes it so that you can't repet the same key twice for a set amount of time for example if u set it to 50 ms you can only repeat the same key with a 50 ms period in between in my case the double type happens in the period of 3 to 10 ms and as the filter key was set to 50 ms it didn't register the double tap and it also works in games aswell for me atleast. There's also a website that you can check which keys have the double tap problem and it shows the time between the key presses. So change your filter key depending on that . Just search keyboard double tap checker and you should find it. This is annoying fix but it works I guess.

Just put this special alcohol in my Amazon's cart. WIll get back here as soon as it will arrive at my home. I am getting mad at my Cooler Master mech keyboard, that I do really love anyway although it's generating lotsa doubles/tryples while mmaybe with some keys, it's not typing them well if I don't press like two million metrical tonnes with Thor's hammer every time!.

I have a Anne pro 2 keyboard. Just made the steps exactly like the video said and my keyboard is not working anymore. I see in the comments that it worked for many people but i guess im unlucky as usual. ruined keyboard.

I got so fed up with these types of issues that I went back to a membrame keyboard. No more worries anymore :D

Very helpful it fixed my keyboard, "0" is typing on its own and also double typing, also it types when ever I hit "." (numpad). Now it is fixed, It started happening when I accidentally spilled small amount of coffee on the numpad area. I think alcohol dried up the spill inside that causes accidental contact.

i want to tell something silly may even work for solution ,for not working correct switches on mechanical keyboard, .......Reduce the brighness of rgb because produce heat and expand metal and plastic of switxhes, that may work in some cases.....
