I like that it works. -Not terribly crazy about the fact that creating a custom format in this way is not available for the web-based version of excel. And I'm bugged by the fact that we still don't know WHY/HOW the solution works. In closing, I think that the health care workers in this payroll spreadsheet of yours are grossly underpaid.
