That seems like a lot of bleach! I have always used a lower ratio 1 Cup:~40 gallons. What does everyone else use?
ОтветитьAnother great video!!! Thanks for all the great content! and thanks for sharing the awesome work that Ronnie does for the Airstream community, there is absolutely no better resource!!!
ОтветитьI’m with you Marc. “A goodbye’s a goodbye.”
ОтветитьWe love watching you guys and learn from you all!! Happy travels and thanks for the encouragement!! 😍😍😍😍
Ответитьi am moving into my TT full time in a couple weeks. i have watched yall since ep 1 big motivation for me. keep up the great work and safe travels!
ОтветитьLove the reminders, Nebraska here, hoping that you make it here this year. We have some great vineyards for boondocking or beautiful state parks.
ОтветитьWe own a 36ft bumper pull. We are getting older (Late 60's). My partially disabled wife wants to see the Ocean or the Gulf. We live in Arkansas. Is there an RV Park that is close to the water that I might be abled to take her, that you might recommend?
ОтветитьMy wife and I used to enjoy watching your videos. We considered yours an "Adventure Channel." You'd go on these great trips that we will probably never take. Now, it seems as if you've become a "How to RV" channel. Not very interesting to us. Too bad.
ОтветитьI couldn't find the checklist, I have pretty much dewinterized my rv, but a check list would be great for the next time. I have watched your show for a few years now & love it.
ОтветитьLoving the cow bell Marc ! Great video as well, any stop in the mitten state ?
ОтветитьHope you guys are OK, didn't see a video on Sunday?
ОтветитьIts a toaster oven?
ОтветитьI am confused about the amount of bleach that you recommended. I have always thought that it is a quarter of a cup for 15 gallons. Would it be possible to clarify this? Thank you.
ОтветитьWhat is the gamechanger? The label is hidden.
ОтветитьThanks to you guys... I finally found out when Columbus Day is.
You said the RV "season" is Memorial Day through Columbus Day. I said, "That can't be right." But here, Old Mr. Google said it's in mid-October and NOT mid-February as I was incorrectly thinking. President's Day ... Columbus Day... who knew?!? 😆
Dewinterizing on Thursday for our first trip of the season and the video reminded me about grabbing the water heater flush wand jobby. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhen you hit Nova Scotia you should go see the Blue Nose II sailing ship . It's on our dime. The original Blue Nose never lost a sailing match.
ОтветитьGreat video but he went a little over board with bleach. It should be 1/4 cup of bleach to every 15 gallons of water.
ОтветитьTwo cups of bleach for a 30-gallon tank seems very rich on the chlorine side. Most of the internet-based information that I had was 1/2 cup for 30 gallon tank. So, 1/4 of the solution for sanitizing the fresh water tank. Can someone please advise on this as I will be dewinterizing my camper in Upstate New York within a few weeks.
ОтветитьMark you need to check out Fluid Film. Corrosion resistance and lubrication.
ОтветитьHaving trouble finding the checklist. Can someone send a link?
ОтветитьDid you grease your bearings off camera? And grease your wet bolts of your shackles, too? And what about airing up the spare tire? And I always also spray/grease our unit’s slide out rails and mechanisms and even tongue jack. And for non-Airstream units, clean and condition the roof membrane is good. Really enjoyed the video though! Just got a whole new set of water filters for our Clearsource Ultra. Getting excited about getting ready!
ОтветитьWe travelled across Canada last summer. We left in May and returned to BC in August. We spent a month in NS. 😍. Get a National Park pass, then you don’t have to pay for every National Park entrance ticket, or stop at the park entrance booths. New Brunswick and PEI are also a must see! If you have the time take the ferry over to PEI it’s free but is 2hrs and take the bridge back as it is way cheaper than the ferry.
ОтветитьHappy to hear you will be exploring part of my country. We have much that we are proud to share
ОтветитьYou forgot to check the date on your tires. Another great video thanks guys.
ОтветитьAs far as the calcium buildup and hard water we use a portable water softener no matter where we are at. After living outside of Phoenix we realized what hard water can do to normal household plumbing. I can only imagine what it would do to rv piping.
ОтветитьOh, you're coming not too far from my homebase. I live between Montreal and Quebec City not too far from the Vermont border... I'm excited to see your upcoming videos.
ОтветитьYou saved the best for last - NEBRASKA! GO BIG RED!!!!
You can check out Henry Doorly Zoo, Strategic Air Command Museum, the State Capital (and home of the Huskers), Buffalo Bill’s ranch, or Chimney Rock - plus countless other places.
Thanks, I'm going to do your Thumb-Operated Lock mod for our shower flap as part of my de-winterizing.
ОтветитьThis is a great video. I love the way you get to the job rather than a lot of banter upfront. You keep it simple and thorough. I save your videos and use them when I'm in the process. Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьThank you for all your tips and information. Your fun and positive energy guys are approaching 500,000 subscribers. Congratulations hope see you on the road someday.
ОтветитьWe life in the Northeast, took our first trip last weekend. Great tips, thank you
ОтветитьIf you come past Toronto, you are welcome to stay at my farm just off the 401 near London. I have 30 Amp and water. You can come see how a Tesla tows an Airstream as well. It's a cool experience.
ОтветитьReally really love these videos with the nuts n bolts guy going through your rig and explaining these things. Seeing the mods in action and the dewinterization is amazing. I recently got a GD Imagine and was clueless about dewinterizing.
ОтветитьGreat info! We enjoy your format, content, enthusiasm, and sense of humor!
ОтветитьWAAAYYY to many wraps of thread sealant tape.🤣
ОтветитьGreat Video, very excited you are going to Nova Scotia. In Mid August we are headed from Michigan to Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Isle and Nova Scotia. So excited that we may learn from you guys again, of neat places to visit and see.
ОтветитьLots to do for season this year. We're replacing the trailer tires with Goodyear Endurance this week, then I'm installing the Lippert Road Armor suspension and bushings, pack the bearings, check brakes.... Soft Start on the roof AC for those 30 amp campgrounds... and so much more! Looking forward to your east coast roll. Need to see more of Trish's healthy food artistry ideas!
ОтветитьGreat video and good timing as we get ready to dewinterize. Cant wait to have you visit out beautiful province of nova scotia! .
ОтветитьI grew up in Yarmouth Nova Scotia the most beautiful place on earth!!! Cape Forshu and Port Maitland Beach are my happy place! You will love it there!
ОтветитьThat bleach concentration is WAY too strong! Todd from the NRVTA recommends 1 cup bleach to 50 gallons water.
ОтветитьDid you see the slip at 37 seconds?
ОтветитьGreat video as usual guy's. Nova Scotia, Montreal, Toronto - be still our beating Canadian hearts! Going to Nebraska - head north from Toronto to Tobermory, Ontario - take the Chi Cheemaun Ferry (2 hour trip) over to Manitoulin Island. Head north west along Hwy 17 (Trans-Canada Highway) up through Sault Ste. Marie (my hometown) the KOA there is fantastic, or go a bit further if you want a Provincial Park. Then proceed along the north shore of Lake Superior (Superior Circle Tour) through Thunder Bay then south to Duluth while making your way to Nebraska. In any event and what ever route you take, have a great summer to remember - safe travels. Doug & Deb
ОтветитьIf you are planning for Nebraska, take a look at Valentine, Nebraska. There are a lot of things to do and see in that area. We went there last Memorial Day weekend and had a blast!
ОтветитьI read the mix is 1/4 cup Clorox bleach (presumably its concentration is most reliable) per 15 gallons of fresh water.
ОтветитьCan’t wait to see the travel videos.
ОтветитьGreetings from Canada! Another great episode. Be sure to hit Cape Breton when you go to Nova Scotia! Amazing to see! Maybe we'll see you this summer. We are in New Brunswick.
ОтветитьGreat episode! Would love to meet you guy's if you ever go trought Baie Saint-Paul in Charlevoix,QC. Were can i follow you'r canadian adventure?
ОтветитьWow! Welcome back to Canada!!
