Beautiful and thoughtful video of this wonderful garden! There is one more thing that would fit into the spatial psychology aspect and that is the experience of entering the garden through the yew hedges. I visited there over 20 years ago and I still remember walking down the tall dark yew pathway and then stepping into the wide open view of the bright white garden - the visual and spatial contrast made for a powerful moment, one that has continued to influence my own garden making over the years.
