If he came into the league 20 years from now he'd still be the best player. Best athlete. Best technique. Cared the most. Would have become an incredible three point shooter if the era called for it. Was not only the most dominant offensive player but the most dominant defensive player. Best ever always.

Jordan was amazing, but the best "Robin" to play with such a talent like MJ is Scottie Pippen. He is the epithomy of Co-Star greatness. There is almost zero chance that we see a similarly fluid player as MJ, but to witness him with Scottie for so many seasons is almost impossible to occur again. If Lebron would have prime Scottie, Lebron could have also 6 rings. Lebron & MJ best ever. Kobe is close second. Everybody else is not on the same level as they are. Maybe Hakeem third with Magic & Kareem. But Scottie is TOP20 player ever too, but the best Robin ever existed.

That factor has to be a large part of the GOAT conversation, other than the obvious and glaring differences.
