Something that I don't think enough people are bringing up is how when he introduced the 1980s mode he literally went "to prove to you guys that I'm not lazy and can actually make and finish a game I made and finished a copy of the game with all the features that the actusl game is missing, all in record time!" Pretty much admitting to stretching out the development of the game to farm for money and attention

It's been ten years. This game is dead because of dev's incompetence. This guy wants to make a game with his own kink and make a profit off of it so he can have some personal fun, but the people don't have the same taste as him and won't support a poor man with bad taste and bad personality and bad background. This guy also lied and just gave up. It's over.

Hitman at its core is a Puzzle game with action elements. Puzzle games require exceptional amounts of planning to make them work correctly while RPGs at their core are far less concerned with the moment to moment gameplay and far more about the overall grand story.

Also I just wanna put it out there. Senpai is a self insert of yandere dev (the persona he uses for his vids is literally senpai) this is why senpai has no personality whatsoever. Alex believes that girls should be attracted to him just because he simply himself. There’s nth interesting about Alex so there’s nth interesting about senpai. YandereSim is just a romanticize imagination of what he thought his high school/teenage life would/should have been.
