The only thing I was really disappointed about with the Garlond GL-II mount was that it plays the island music, and not the perfect fit that would've been the radio version of Home Beyond the Horizon.
Honestly. They should've just had the mandragora mounts have the island music, and had the motorcycle play the Garlean song instead.

FYI crafting the Island food give you as much Island exp as gathering. Also fleecing gives you 50 points each time.
