Probably the only scene I enjoyed was the mirror of the elegant fight stance of Kitana, and then the opposite with Mileena being feral and crazed looking low to the ground

If I’m not mistaken, but I think this MK adaptation was supposed to be a more “realistic” take on a fantastical universe.

Which is the reason why Mileena didn’t have her Tarkatan teeth, and the the ability to teleport. Because, I think Baraka’s character in this series was a medical doctor who went insane and surgically implanted himself with blades.

Its the fighting style for me that was great and the dynamic between Kitana and Mileena. You could feel Kitana's emotion of accepting she knows the truth and denouncing Milenna as her sister. It was hard for her even after she killed Mileena. The only family she has known was Mileena and Khan. She was too young to have a memorable relationship with her Mother before her death.

Mileena literally almost demolished both of them shows how powerful she is and this isn’t even her at her full potential

This is honestly a good fight, the actresses did great, it's just sad that one johnny helped kitana win, it definitely cheapened the moment, especially considering she killed mileena by herself in the og timeline. And two I feel like it would be more iconic if kitanas hair was in a braid or ponytail instead of a bun, the imagery would be more dynamic and I feel like people would have cared about this fight more even if it's already solid , but that's just a nitpick tbh definitely underrated
