If I have the lisboa card, I don't need to buy a ticket right? I just scan my lisboa card.

If we buy a ticket at the airport to town center with zap fund, can that card and there are funds still available can that card be used for the train to Sintra. A Sintra tourist guide mentions the following "It’s important to note that if you previously acquired a “Viva Viagem” card to use on the metro or trams, it can only be used for the train if it has no fares left. Your balance has to be zero, otherwise you must buy a new card for the train." So I am confused, do I have to buy another card?

I wish I had seen this prior to visiting Sinatra. We were victims of the bus scam and wasted a lot of time. Amazing place but we didn’t see enough of it.

1) Do I need to purchase in advance the entrance tickets to various attractions in Sintra? Or just queue up and buy on the day of visit?

Great video! 3 of us ( mature women) plan to take your route in Sintra. Are there available Uber or taxis so that we don’t have to walk as much? And where do we get them?

Tony I love Sinatra and all of Portugal… my favourite trip when I was a travel agent. I have retired but I will be visiting Spain for the first time next April..❤❤❤ all of your videos!!!

The initiation well is the sole reason I will visit Portugal this autumn. I'll go there first when arriving in Sintra, in the hope that the majority of people first head to pena castle.
