@jamiewolfer, what do you if you hired a coordinator and she took your deposit and then disappeared? She randomly show down shop without notifying us and deleted her email and phone numbers… so we can’t even contact her to request a refund. She did have us sign a contract and then completely disappeared. Many other brides had this happen by this woman as well

I have been watching aaalll of your videos since I started planning my wedding and they have been so helpful! But I have a question, is it possible to plan things too early?

My wedding is April 2023 and my long engagement is killing me. I am an event planner for my career so I feel like I have this down. Best I don’t know what to do in between the 10-12 months and the 7-9 months tasks. I have planned and researched everything I need to but just waiting to purchase the items.

ah i didn't know i needed to research on how to research for a wedding... i went in with 0 knowledge on how to plan for a wedding and just jumped right into planning and it was a learning curve for sure and i may be late in booking everything for my wedding that's 6 months away but oh well no do overs lol

I really WISH I would have had a planner. My wedding was last week. My photographer had the wrong date on his notes so he was MIA. If I would have had a planner she would have handled the entire situation and had 8 backups in her phone. Not just nothing on the most important day in my life. GET A PLANNER. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so fortunate that our venue has the best wedding coordinator included in the price. She’s amazing, friendly, so knowledgeable and always happy to answer my questions. We also have a “planning meeting” 4 months before the wedding to go through every single details. Definitely a lot of trust, and therefore less stress 😅

I'm less than a year out, and DEEP into the planning process. Girl, you are a genius lifesaver angel with these tips!

Read your contracts - YESSSS 🙌🏼 you don’t want to be hit w/a room flip fee that you didn’t know about b/c you were too excited to sign. Ask ALL the questions, but please be kind. Confirm, confirm, confirm. Also, yep, pick your helpers. I got hit by a bunch of texts right as my MUA was doing my lashes 😆 thankfully my now SIL & husband navigated the vendors and early bird arrivals. You’re the BEST Jamie!! Love from Houston 🥰

Thought I had everything figured out but #8 is a must!! Only 2 weeks away and had to ask a point person last night to help me out.

Feedback: I converted the PDF timeline into an excel. SOOO helpful. I put each item on a separate line (that took a while). Might be useful to offer that format at least to your paying members! (Maybe it is, I didn’t sign up for that part since im really not doing vendors)

Feedback: I signed up for the email list but I was only a month in and four months out… so now I’ll get info as if I’m ten months out… would be nice if it also asked the date so it can shorten time between notices…
