I saw Moho mentioned in the video and saw a few comments about it and thought I would give my spin on it compared to this plugin and Adobe Animate as a possible alternative.
Just to be clear, this is mostly a back story and not an endorsement or advertisment to promoet Moho. I am looking for a replacement for it and already have Adobe Animate with my Adobe CC subscription.

I am a LONG LONG LONG time user of Moho. Going on 15 years or more. Not sure exactly. Yikes time flies. I bought it way way back when it was ORIGINALLY called Moho and it was sold as a simple but powerful 2D animation tool by the developer. It was created and sold by just one guy on his own. Since then it changed companies and name twice. It started as Moho, changed to Anime Studio, then back again to Moho (I always liked Moho better). The other absolutely brilliant and the most powerful aspect of Moho was the inclusion of scripting via LUA. The entire interface and all the animation capabilities, almost everything was open to customization and control via scripting with LUA. You could create new tools, modify existing tools. Create layer scripts to do anything you could think of. I went nuts on it and created all kinds of gizmos and tools to aid in animation and even file creation.

When I bought it all those years ago it was only $50. I was looking for something 2D after switching from Animation:Master, a 3D application. Now Moho is $400 and I can't afford it. I just switched from mac to pc and I simply can't afford a new copy for the new PC I just bought. I still have an old version of 12 on my mac, but it's a copy from when I was a beta tester a few years back. I desperately need a replacement for Moho.

I have the Adobe suite and have had Adobe Animate/Flash for even longer than I used Moho. I never embraced it mostly due to a total and complete lack of rigging tools. I need to find a replacement for Moho and this rigging plugin with Adobe Animate looks like a possible solution. In the past I have used Flash but never really liked it's animation tools. I am also not nearly skilled enough as an animator (and lazy as hell) to do frame by frame animation like so many animators I have seen use Flash for over the years. It almost seems like that was the main animation use of it for a long time. Hand drawing each frame using onion skin.

This plugin does look amazing. And it is a no brainer to try it out given it's price of ZERO!!! I was certain after watching some of the videos it was going to cost a few hundred. Wow. Very impressed.

BRO i just want to thank you so much for putting me on to this. You just made my life SOOO much easier. Tweening was really really starting to piss me off and while i do enjoy frame by frame animation i just don't have the time for drawing out every individual frame. This has helped BIG TIME. THANKS A LOT BRO.

This tool could make a revolutionary improvement in Adobe Animate character animation.
