CyberPanel WordPress Setup (1-Click Install on Vultr)

Many thanks for this tutorial, really clear and has got me up and running with a reasonable understanding of this panel OpenLiteSpeed is indeed fast, I'm using this VPS to develop a BuddyBoss site being able to quickly spin up a WP site on a subdomain make this an ideal environment for trying things out.

Great tutorial! I'm struggling now with choosing between OpenLiteSpeed for WP, Plesk, CloudPanel, Cyberpanel. I will only have one website.

Do you have a video showing how to use cyberpanel's auto backup system?

I have installed PrestaShop for my site in Cyberpanel, how can I uninstall that?

Like your Tutorial on running your own Server. I have been reluctant in doing so, but think I will test it out and see. Most of my Domains for a registry are with Cloudflare. I would stay with Cloudways except now they have dropped Vultur, so very few options now. The price was increased as well, plus I pretty much figure out my own problems anyway. So the support desk does not really help me much. To be honest my preference is Liltespeed, so nice to know that CyberPannel works well. I like the idea of CyberPannel as there is no limitation on it on the number of sites I can host. Anyway, thanks.

Why do you you always setup your control panel on a sub domain.... What's the advantage of doing that

Hey, unfortunately I have a problem and I think it is due to the security of cyberpanel. I wanted to activate the key from the plugin Duplicator Pro, but it does not work. It says that it can not connect to the Duplicator server. Can the firewall prevent it?

There's an FTP bug (503 Authentication Error) with 22.04 version of Ubuntu.

hi, you helped me to install cyberpanel and I did that and now my site is running....but when I create ftp it does not work...I am getting Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server------I have used the correct login credentials but still same thig...I have created different ftp but it is the same issue...can you help or guide if I can solve this issue

When moving the same domain, how would you go about it? Basically install it on just your IP and then point it in the DNS to the new ip?

Hey, thanks for this, gave it a try on VULTR HF and I get all the way to the point (past the cp subdomain) where we make a website, and in the panel I select that Wordpress one click button and it fails with a 404. A quick look with the file manager and I can see all of the normal Wordpress files and directories, php admin does not show a database so I do believe it is failing to create a database. Not sure where to go with that, any else run into this issue?

Updated: What I discovered is that when I used php 8.1 it would fail every time. however, if I used php 7.4 I would get a successful install. I then changed the php to 8.1 post Wordpress / lite speed install and all is well. A different version of cyberpanel may or may not behave this way, but the specific version I was using did.

Would you recommend Cyberpanel over OpenLiteSpeed?.

Hello Alex, I followed your tutorial on Hestia + oracle. And everything worked out fine except for certificates. I installed them in the Hestia panel for both hcp (through admin acc) and root using username making sure that Let's encrypt is toggled off on both. However, it shows let's encrypt certificate when you go on the website. I'm wondering why that would be and if you experienced this issue as well and if yes how did you go about fixing it? Thank you in advance for your help and awesome content!
EDIT: And more importantly I can't access hcp.domain:2083 because of certificate issue. I can access it using IP:2083 but not a damain. I made sure that A record for hcp is also present. Can't put my head to why that issue would exist.

So Alex, now that there's a one click install option for CyberPanel, is there any change in your preferences between CyberPanel, Hestia, and CloudPanel? I'm leaning more towards Hestia or CloudPanel atm but would be interested to know your thoughts.

What's the purpose of the cp subdomain when you can access the panel from the main domain:8090 ?

I get a 404 error at the installing wordpress stage. sudo apt-get install php-mysql solves it.
