Best and only widgets I've ever used; Dashboard. I miss Dashboard. Notification Centre widgets were never as useful. Too small, too limited, too out of the way. Dashboard was a great way to quickly get to all your widgets, do your thing and get back. And they could be more than they are now with more allowed sizes and interactions

Anybody experiencing Mouse Pointer Disappearing/Freezing issues on M1 Macs? For me this weird issue started after updating to MacOS Big Sur 11.1,right now I’m on MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3 and still the issue is there.And I almost tried all the troubleshooting provided by Apple Support Team through chat support,but still the issue persists.

You can replicate this issue by following these steps, When you're booting up the system from a complete shutdown,don't touch anything until you see the login screen.Then enter your password,using only the keyboard,don't touch the trackpad,and press return key to login.When you loads to desktop screen after logging in, immediately start moving the mouse,and then it'll freeze up.I have been able to reproduce it somewhat consistently,about 70% of the time while booting up.(I’m using M1 MacBook Pro 16GB•256GB,running macOS Big Sur 11.2.3.)

macOS Big Sur makes Windows 10 look outdated with it’s rounded corners compared to the sharp edges in windows.

Having used Apple computers full-time since MacOS9 Big Sur is a very good update but until my next upgrade I'm stuck with Intel as I needed the power for designing buildings using BIM software which although not an arthritic AutoDesk product was, according to the reports at the time, the M1 was unlikely to be able to cope. Those reports might have been wrong :-) I hoping for an M1X in an iPad Pro with LiDAR to make site work and meetings with clients a better experience for both.

Why did rounded edges and icons bother you so much that you had to mention them?

Some of us question why widgets can be used on a Home Screen on iPhone but not the iPad as well

My favorite feature of macOS Big Sur is voice control. Voice control allows me to use macOS Big Sur completely hands-free. I use it daily. I hope the next version of macOS continues to build on the feature set and the dictation quality.

I would strongly advise people who run RAID systems - LaCie, G-Technology, OWC Softraid, WD, etc....NOT to upgrade to Big Sur and even think about moving to the ARM M1 chip. Why, The RAID systems cannot be accessed. If they are accessible, you will experience massive performance issues. A little example - LaCie Big5 has about 700MB/s under Catalina and 36MB/s under Big Sur ARM. OWC Softraid may work with 11.3 (which is in beta)...but at which price. Besides this there the Mac mini M1 has also apps performance issues, If you are a professional user, this is not the product for you. It sounds all nice, but under the radar there are too many issues.

Mac message does NOT have third party filtering like iOS does, and even that feature is not available in every country.

Not sure about big sur on older Mac's though. I'm afraid to update even though mine is compatible.

I have realised my 2015 MBP 15" started lagging a bit and 
fans run more often with macOS BigSur to handle larger softwares.. 
Is that true for anyone else for relatively older macs.?

Damn ass OS. Macbook with Big Sur looks like iPad with keyboard... Even though apple’s plan is to do like that, but I think Mac is Mac, and iPad is iPad... Mac should be more expertly and iPad should be more user friendly.

Big Sur is amazing for me ! Safari alone for me made it well worth it ! I got to delete google chrome and save a ton of battle life and computer does not over heat like it did on chrome on my intel Mac I can only imagine M1 MacBooks

Thank you for your video! I have a a question regarding ads. Which Safari extension do you propose for blocking the ads? For instance, UBlock Origin is not available on Safari

It’s a huge improvement from previous macOS but there are still room for improvements. I hate the fact that every time I want to plug it to an external monitor I need to keep in charging the battery 🤬 or how most apps can’t open in full page (keeping the the menu on the top). The lack of a smooth scrolling for the mouse is ridiculous. Anyways, I’m glad I don’t need to use a third party browser any longer as Safari can do everything the competition did before and better.

Hi can you download and play light games from steam with M1? I was thinking of buying a Macbook Air, considering it's efficiency, I was thinking if it's okay to play games like Valheim sometimes with Apple M1 devices.
