What is their main profit center or industry? Something to do with the international finance economic system?
ОтветитьThis is a great video. Have always wished to visit but I keep hearing it's quite difficult to come over. If you can help out with this, I'd be very grateful😊
ОтветитьA very warm & unic video for Lusembourg, thanks Wolters
ОтветитьBeware, everybody will stop if you cross on the pathway or in pedestrian centre city, but jailwalk is still unusual for a lot of Luxembourg / German people, you will be honked and yelled at, you will provoke emergency brake despite being dozens yards away, or the car will speed up and brake at the last minute "just to show you". Because you are doing something ILLEGAL.
In the down part of the city (the Grund) there is a former brewery turned into nightlife place, with good music, animation and fine restaurants. Don't expect too much, it's a city of 100,000 residents.
Service is not bad, people are not artificially smiling like in USA (they don't depend on your tips) but they are working very well. Prices are some 20% higher compared to neighboring countries, somehow aligned to Paris, but not the crazy prices of Dubai or Singapore.
From Vianden, consider a little trekking around, the rocks and forests are really beautiful, all the more in spring and automn. But wheather is rainy.
Use free public transport or web taxi. Don't use regular taxi, they have a free tarification policy, meaning that they can charge you some 80€ for the 20 minutes drive to city centre.
When shopping, it's funny to go to Guillaume II street, a short pedestrian street with all the high luxury fashion shops in a few meters. Did you ever see a cue of customers before a Chanel shop?
There is a handful of good Luxemburg cooking restaurants, just search on specialised sites.
South Brazil have a small community from Luxembourg, my father side family come from there.
Ответитьi heard transport within luxembourg is free; you mentioned use of a card for bus travel; hence this question
Ответить#1 don’t is DONT GO! I’ve been living here for 6 months and by far the worst country in Europe on all fronts. I’m sorry but too many rude and aggressive people and very little interesting and unique things to do. There are some nice parts but nothing unique and food isn’t good. Just expensive and mediocre at best burgers and pizza !
ОтветитьI had the pleasure of visiting the charming country of Luxembourg, where I embarked on an adventure as a skilled IT professional. Initially, I was offered a permanent contract, which sounded like a dream come true
However, after six months, I found myself succumbing to a profound state of depression, triggered by the relentless monotony, perpetually gray weather, and exorbitant and unjustifiable cost of living in Luxembourg. Consequently, I made the decision to bid farewell to Luxembourg, and I must say, I couldn't be happier with my choice.
I discovered that my heart yearns for the vibrant pulse of big cities, where the sun and the sea weave a symphony of joy. Luckily, I stumbled upon the holy grail of remote work—100% remote, to be precise. It's nothing short of a miracle, and it has brought me immeasurable happiness. Now, the mere thought of Luxembourg evokes a shiver down my spine. Even if you waved a hundred thousand euros per month in front of me, I wouldn't consider living there again.
Hello, Great video. Who are the Joan du Arc, the Lafayette, The Louise’s of Luxemburg. Will like to know how this country came to be. Thanks
Ответить1) The point about the cars stopping for pedestrians is not really accurate: IT IS THE LAW, CARS HAVE TO STOP FOR PEDESTRIANS AT A A PEDESTRIAN CROSSING !!
2) You do not need a Luxembourg Card for free public transportation - PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IS SIMPLY FREE !! Except if you are travelling in First Class in trains
Are cities like Echternach safe at night?
ОтветитьYou forgot the last advice: Dont go to the minette😂
ОтветитьWow. Mooie plaats. Wil ik over een paar maand ook naar toe.
ОтветитьThe Legend
ОтветитьWell, you're not correct about not meeting many luxembourgers. Most of us natives live outside Luxembourg City.
ОтветитьIt's too dive you don't even see people on the street not for me
ОтветитьNow the question of all questions: Why are you all coming here? I mean, did you all fail in your native country or did you succeed too much in your native country?
ОтветитьThe multilingual and high technology (alongside culture that stood the test of time) is to be viewed positivley for Luxembourg with its good approaches, both foreign and domestic, to Non-profit organisation, Public Utility Foundation, Luxenbour Charities as described in Article 159 of the ITL.
My comment has no hate in it and I do no harm. I am not appalled or afraid, boasting or envying or complaining... Just saying. Psalms23: Giving thanks and praise to the Lord and peace and love. Also, I'd say Matthew6.
