Notepad++ should at least be mid. It has every feature without being a bloated bag of ass and also works great as a non-coding text editor. I don't bother with it when I'm using Linux but it's essential windows software.

visual studio is absolutely goat tier if you are doing c/c++ coding. long time vim/text editor user but oh my days VS is absolutely amazing at big ass c/c++ projects.

Eclipse is the best. You just can't use it.

Personally I really like Notepad++ because the UI is really compact, it's super lightweight, and has an easily-accessible spell checker (that being DSpellCheck; granted it isn't installed by default anymore and needs to be switched to the Windows spellchecker now last I checked because the default one doesn't work).
