Beautiful African people. Pictures don’t lie. Those who built the pyramids were even darker, and had extremely curly hair. Facts.

I would love to see then and now pictures side by side like those pyramids in the lower Americas but with more time to study. I loved the pictures with the trees.

Most of the statues faces are destroyed or heads gone. The details seem crude compared to palaces, churches, libraries, monasteries, state houses, etc … that are all over this realm. Sites like this remind me of what we are told were destroyed castles. :/

Just a little out of sight when looking at the Step Pyramid, there is a beautiful stone building with immense historical significance, but no one ever shows it. No one ever shows it because it confirms Joseph's story of saving Egypt from starving to death during the 7-year famine. The building I am talking about is a granary/warehouse where the grains were stored. There are huge pits lined with stone that were the holding tanks in the ground. But since it confirms the Biblical narrative, no one shows any photos. I don't know if the guides tell the tourists about the building. Even the features on the inside are precisely how they are described in the Bible. I saw one documentary where they found bits of grain left over from those days. If the Talmudic estimate of the Israelite's presence in Egypt is correct, Joseph's rise to power occurred around 1,770 BC.

Very atmospheric, all without the filth and squalor of Cairo in the background.

What I find amazing is that for generations the Egyptians lived among these ruins and did not need to refurbish them. They just carried on.

I always wonder what kind of weaponry could be used to blow down such strong resilient stone masonry—some seemingly turned to dust, like they were made of super lightweight sand.

I’ve only seen destruction like that in pictures of the aftermath of Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Also, how come the skies all look the same? No clouds? No sun or birds?

We are supposed to believe that these ruins acquired their damage slowly over time. Wind, sand, rain and so forth. Many look like they’ve had the crap kicked out of them rather suddenly. They’re clearly smashed by something very powerful.

Looks like Egypt was mostly rubble until the Industrial Revolution where machines became large enough to move large stones (again). How did humans once have this ability and then didn't for centuries? And don't say slaves or aliens. My guess is the largest and finest works were built before the flood, then other humans inherited what was there and added to them and copied them with hand tools and softer stone. Change my mind.
