hey coach your videos good! i did get my cpc license but for all of 2023 i been applhing to basic coding jobs ans wve basic medical office jobs and cannot land a job. they either ask for both experience or the license or one of then. so im already going to go to odd jobs instead or jobs outsise of the meeical industry instead becuz iexhausted my options already. the job market is more harder thaan in ur days in the 80s whatever time ur career started so u should advise new coders to just search for odd jobs or jobs outside the medical industry that "pay the bills" or do "odd jobs" online or in your down time to payy the bills or supplemenr your income. we live in a harder than before back then we u can jusr walk into a workplace anf fill a paper application where now everyrhing is just make an account and applh online n thats the sad reality of this world today

I can attest that this is still relevant in 2021. My aunt is a coder, and she said that she gets calls all the time from employers looking for coders. I have my undergrad certification in Medical Billing, but I continued to earn a degree in Applied Business with a major in Office Technology as well. I just finished college, so now I'm working on reviewing all my coding knowledge so that I can get my CCS. I love that you have these videos so that I can review my textbooks along with them! I'm looking for a rewarding career in the Medical Coding field.

Hello . Have a medical coder read lot of written documents ? I am asking because English is not my native language. I am reading, writing but not speaking very well. How could I check my power before to make decision become the Medical Coder ? How to understand that I can do that jobs ? I have a fear on that . I am not yang . This video wow. I’m 4 years late but I’m going to watch all your vids and see if this is the path I want. What a great bonus to work from home. Is this a job that is metric based with a lot of micromanaging or is this a position where you have to motivate yourself to keep up work QUALITY. If it’s the latter I think I found my calling.

Hello! I recently found your videos. I'm currently looking like crazy to figure out how to go about all the schooling. I was wondering if it would be possible to pick your brain a little bit.

I'm not sure how the school works. I'm thinking about going to my associate's degree through an ahima accredited community college. Is there much of a difference between going to a vocational school vs a college? If I get my associate's how to I go about getting certified? Do i take the test through ahima/aapc? If i go to an ahima accredited school will it count if I trying to get certified with aapc as well? I've read people have done both but I'm not sure what route to go...

Hi. I have a certificate of completion in Medical Terminology and Medical Billing 2006. I want do Medical Billing and Coding @ home. I need to know what my next step should be. It's been sense 2006 that I have had any courses. Should I get my associate degree or can I just learn this trough you to be able to take the exam?  Thanks Julie
