Who's looking forward to this year's Jingle cats?
ОтветитьYogscast hasn’t fallen off tho, just stagnated, unlike rooster teeth.
ОтветитьI stopped watching because of the corporateness of it all. Employing other channels to work for them was a bit much and they never changed. They weren't the only ones. I remember a lot of channels back then, who thought it was fine to remain playing Minecraft and GMod, when their viewership had moved on to other games.
ОтветитьTwo main things killed my interest in the Yogscast. Firstly, Simon and Lewis hardly ever doing videos together, their dynamic was everything to me. Every single one of the early series, it didn't matter what they did, as long as Simon was dicking around and Lewis was hanging on by his last frayed nerve I was dying to watch. Secondly, when they were forced to fire half of their biggest names when they turned out to be abusing their power, or just outright perverts. Especially Sjin, when Sjin snuck in with a surprise troll that set everyone off, that was magic.
ОтветитьStill all warning plenty of money. How's your income?
ОтветитьImagine trying to diss the yogscast us yognuts never falter
ОтветитьThere was a downfall, I know people disagree but there was.
The Yogscast just aren't creative anymore, they're another victim of the algorithm.
delete this
ОтветитьI watcged them every day as a kid when it was the yoglabs era thst was so fun
ОтветитьI'd say the yogscast has had anything but a downfall. All the members are living happy lives which is what every good company should strive for. Sure they aren't massive but they show that they don't have to be greedy cucks to survive not to mention their charity streams which are among the biggest in the world.
ОтветитьMaybe just playing the hot new video game at the time and filming it isn’t innovative content. Maybe you give these “creators” too much credit and act shocked when they let you down, because you treat them like Nobel laureates, but all they were doing was playing the next hot game. I mean how you give PewDiePie a pass on his racist rants is mind boggling. Especially since his visit to Conan exposed him as an awkward, unfunny person with no real personality. It’s lazy content, devoid of any talent.
ОтветитьThey never failed, I still watch them to this day they have a genuine great time what are you on about
Ответитьlewis and gang will forever live in my heart
Ответитьdoes anyone know what Turps is up to now?
ОтветитьI use to watch their warcraft videos. I originally found out about minecraft through their videos. I knew nothing about it at first and originally I totally thought they where talking to actual AI in the game lol. I didn't realize they had just had people roleplaying. I fell off though because 1. they moved away from warcraft which was how I found them and they stopped doing minecraft series which was another reason I really enjoyed the channel was all the custom maps. I liked when they experimented with other games as well. I remember unsubscribing because I felt like they alienated there old fan base for more trendy games like GTA, TTT, and gmod related mods. Which is fine, but it just felt like they where not making videos for me or a similar audience anymore so I moved on.
ОтветитьI remember subscribe to Yogscast back when it had 1,500. I had just found their survival minecraft series as it was just starting to shift to a rp style series. I want to say it was roughly 2013 as I was 12 at the time.
So, to find that the 72nd or 74th episode (i don't remember the last digit too well, but I know we were in the 70's). Well, to find that to be the end when it wasn't the end was heartbreaking. I did continue to watch their stuff like the mission to the moon and YogsLab.
Nothing will ever hit as hard as SoI did. I rewatch that series everytime I need a pick me up.❤
This is clickbait
ОтветитьWhy is the Minecraft sound track so fire
ОтветитьThe Yogscast are the opposite of failed my man - the company makes enough money for their friends to dick about playing video games while living comfortably, and raising shit tons of money for charity.
ОтветитьChannel still has 7 million subs bro.
ОтветитьI still rewatch old videos to this day.
I do not believe the "downfall" was anything other than TTT content.
I dunno why but i just dont find it fun to watch.
Yogscast SUCCEEDED in giving myself, and myriad others, the most entertaining and accepting childhood I could have imagined.
ОтветитьI think its a mixture of because they grew up and because Simon went MIA. He was a big part of the channel and when he was gone for an episode it was ok, Lewis could sustain it by utilizing the story to someone else but when Simon was hospitalized was about when I started waiting for him to come back and the algorithm gave me new videos and channels and then he never came back. I'm glad to hear that he's OK, but it hurts to look back and see that the channel went downward when he disappeared. Plus they tried a thing with Kim or something and she just wasn't the same, then all the allegations and truths revealed it just kept digging the whole deeper. Sips also left/was never integrated like Sjin and duncan were and the Ridgedog was wronged or left on negative terms and Its just hard to see.
Ответитьthey just got progressively lazier.
ОтветитьI remember watching their first Minecraft video when it came out. I'm 21 now...time flies
ОтветитьI love how theres runescape music in the background of this
ОтветитьDidn’t they have loads of drama with regards to some of their crew being a bit, well, Suss? I’m sure I remember that
ОтветитьThey didn’t
ОтветитьI can sum up their decline in one sentence; Israphel. Had they concluded Israphel, they'd have kept their popularity.
ОтветитьFunny you didn’t touch on the yogscast game debacle damaging their brand??
ОтветитьI watched my first Minecraft video from them..
ОтветитьRs music?
ОтветитьI literally love the yogscast. I still watch all their minecraft videos til this day not gonna lie.
ОтветитьI stopped watching once Simon disappeared for his first series of medical issues he was the soul of it and was so funny
ОтветитьWatched this while playing a lil Minecraft grew up on these guys, takes me back to binge watching Minecraft at 2 am in middle school. Great video
ОтветитьYogscast didn't "fail", the landscape changed out of their favor. The audience they grew became older and changed their attention away from their content.
ОтветитьTheir downfall was due to them hiring people, the more people you hirer the greater the chances of issues showing up.
ОтветитьHehe
ОтветитьI didn't expect to be watching this while sitting in Varrock Square.
ОтветитьI wouldn't really say they failed, that's completely innacurate and ignores so many intricacies of the topic. They haven't really been gaining subscribers or growing, but the fanbase they have is incredibly consistent. They raise millions a year for charity, release videos with consistent and decent viewer numbers on an almost daily basis, and their streams do quite well too. I've started and stopped watching so many channels over the years, but I've been watching the Yogscast since episode 10 of Shadow of Israphel, and it's the only channel I've ever stuck with for so long. That's their success; they don't go up and down, they consistently maintain the same numbers for years, numbers that are more than sufficient to allow every member to live comfortably and make content they enjoy, rather than jumping from popular game to popular game in a desperate bid to gain subscribers. They're content to be where they are, and honestly, I see that as a far better than some of the biggest channels on the platform; prioritizing yours and your friends' comfort and happiness over arbitrary measures of "success".
ОтветитьI was 11 when i watched them thats wild
