Old model trailblazer wipers are on the turn signal lever as is the cruise control and high beams. The control that you saw was for the rear window. Old model also has front back heating.

Just about every Trailblazer shipped with the Atlas Straight 6. Couldn't burn them out.

The new "version" ...the headlights are down where the dust and gravel and flying stones ruin them in 2 years (yay, just in time to trade it in)
The Turbo style burns out fast if you like to drive fast and jackrabbit starts.
Never ever skip maintenance or use budget oil in a Turbo engine! You'll be sorry after. Also change the transmission fluid on time with either model or it quickly goes downhill.
In the old Atlas engine you can pour any old cheapo oil on sale, and stomp the accelerator.

Have an 03 ext LT and its love with 192,000, its takes some getting used to with the buttons and dials. I wished mine had the manual controls for the air.

The [GMC] Jimmy was another GMC version or trim package of the Chevy Blazer / GMC Envoy, etc...

I had a 02 trailblazer Lt gold color, got it when it had 180,000 miles original it was a decent fully loaded SUV with a bunch of problems, I had traded for a 05 trailblazer LS and I liked that one better then the 02, had less problems but it runs better also, it was in better shape, I regret letting it go

i hate the new trailblazers, theyre just too tiny. old ones were hugee, my ext is basically the same size as my 2012 suburban, besides the height. but even for their size these things move and they're pretty fun in snow and even rain😂 positrac ftw

The old one you can by a new infotainment center and still have dual climate, the seat lay down on both models

I seriously doubt it will last like the old ones.
I had a 2002 the transmission went out at 260k miles rebuild it and finally the engine went out at 340k miles.
I really be surprised if the new one with all the gadgets will last that long.

The old ones look awesome, the new ones look weird in my opinion...but to each his own.

Chevy screwed up big. There is little to no difference between the Blazer and Trailblazer now they are same size, same basic style and both suck. The funny thing is the Blazer is now the more powerful of the two. The Trailblazer should be a midsized SUV and who ever at Chevy did this needs to be kneecapped.

My '04 Trailblazer XL is fixing to hit 200k with no major issues, she's not as clean as this '05 but it's a nice ride with about 15 mpg in town.

341,000 on my 04 trailblazer still kicking basic maintenance is all they require.

Ok, back to the Trailblazer. We have four vehicles in our household. The trailblazer we bought years and years ago. The paint still looks good, the interior looks nearly new; and the inline 6 engine is still running strong; the vehicle is amazing. (We feel like this vehicle will never die)

28mpg is dogshit for a new 3cy car! my 2014 vw jetta se has a 1.8 turbo with 195bhp and 5 speed and I get 46mpg with the ac on in 95 degree weather on the highway!

theres no way these had 275 horsepower they are slower than dogshit!
