Was it the sherpas who installed the ladders and the ropes before the 3 of you climbed up? Did they do this with 25 kg of load on their backs? Also, why did you choose to climb a 8000 m mountain without supplemental oxygen ?

Out of other videos about K2, in my opinion, this production is the most complete version of the hiking from beginning to the peak. How so? Mostly videos about K2 start from base camp which means we donot understand the struggle hikers face from the start (read: the nearest town/city). In the end, this video can fulfil the lack of knowledge for viewers who cannot hike to the mountain in systematic and real route.

Brilliant filming. Unfortunate that I had to turn off all sound because of the awful tapping / drumming as some sort of background noise.
