The only drawback of the RP is the dynamic range weak compared to the Nikon, Sony, and Canon’s other R series cameras. Otherwise it’s great, and the price is fantastic.

im torn between rp and the r10. i want to shoot everything primarily outdoors. Im torn because i really want the faster mechanical shutter on the r10 however i had an rp love the ff and image quality but missed not taking wildlife photos. how does the DR and the image quality compare between the rp and the r10. My main hesitation is the aps-c sensor but the faster AF and faster mechanical are major draws for me. I would get the R7 if i had the extra but i dont

was gonna grab an RP but found an R10 for 750 so I grabbed it! Love it's colors, only thing I miss is that full frame the RP has!

RP is more expensive that R10

I know sharpness depends a lot on which lens you are using, but if using the same lens on both the R10 and the RP, would you notice an appreciable difference in sharpness, in something like an 8×10 enlargemment?

Please tell me of any camera with a CMOS Sensor that doesn't have a rolling shutter while doing video? Because I know of none that do.

I enjoyed the video, but that bright light bulb in the background is incredibly distracting and ruins the contrast of the video so I'd strongly recommend removing it.

Can't hear it, can't watch it. Usually ok audio on this channel which is weird.

Do I still need lens adapter with RP full frame?

R10 has 2 hours recording limit so not suitable for 3 hour video events with AC adapter.

Im new to photography i want something that will excel at capturing quick moving action sports shots and possibly video but also allow me to step in to portraits and landscape/ city photography. Would the r10 be your recommendation or possibly something else around the same price range

Hey, so current camera is a 700D got that new about 2 year after release, I'm looking at getting a new one. Budget is around the r10 price.

I do alot of astro photography along with landscapes, aircraft displays and cars, I'll also need movie, but astro is a must have that better then anything anyone have any suggestions on this? CF card will be a great benefit too

RP has no ibis for handheld video and no joystick

no clue why anyone would get the rp over the r10. if you value full frame so much get the r8. the rp is outdated by every definition of the word.

I just got this camera and I LOVE it! The colors are stunning, the auto-focus is perfect (follows my dog around in brushes and woods), the images are super sharp and gorgeous. The slow-motion video is another super feature - just stunning. It has been one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I’m confused between the cameras r10, rp and r50. It’s for family/childrens photos (inside of the house and outside)

its my first camera, so i got into it without knowing anything, just had to decide on a camera to get. i mean, until you really learn and get into it, you cant really decide on a camera. i picked it because it was mentioned a lot and i could afford it, so i decided to jump into it, so far i love it, i mean obviously as someone who is new, just having a camera, is a huge jump from nothing, so i cant complain, but i definitely dont regret it.

I was wondering if rolling shutter affect vertical shooting? 🤔
