Is it really worth sacrificing all your fps just to get fancier reflections? I dont really see 60fps as optimal, specifically in games that include combat
ОтветитьI can give my opinion. Ray Tracing Off = 170FPS, Ray Tracing On = 70FPS. That's a 100FPS loose, for some better reflections, shadows. Does this make sense spending huge price for a RTX card, when a pretty much 5 times less priced GPU can do the same thing at same FPS, without Ray Tracing.
ОтветитьBattlefield is not the type of game you want to turn ray tracing on. WTF woudl you need it in a fast paced competative shooter? Its best for more atmospheric games. You would be wasting money to buy an nviia card to play this type of game with raytracing and woudl be best geting an AMD card which have much better rasterization etc. Unless you play both these typpe sof games in which case by all means go with Nvidia for Ray tracing.
ОтветитьThose pretty reflections aren’t going to mean shit in 30 fps.
ОтветитьNot gonna spend 600$ just to get reflections on water and windows. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat vid
Ответитьit looks good but it's barely noticeable ingame lol
Ответитьits just a reflection quality and they say its a new technology...what a badas world
ОтветитьI'm viewing this on 1080p and I can't tell the difference. I guess I'm just two steps behind.
Ответитьmore like reelections quality setting of low and max
ОтветитьSo its just a fancy word for reflection?
ОтветитьOn 90- off 90+
ОтветитьFajny nick xD
ОтветитьReflections in a puddle of water should not be that clean and colorful. Its Unnatural in the world. And why did the reflection on the car look so messed up? It was Clear but the proportions n shape felt off. Ray tracing may need more tuning but the future of gaming looks Unbelievable. !!!
ОтветитьIt's good for single player. Not for fast paced multiplayer.
RTX already suffers from a FPS drop. That combined with a high latency in some regions will lead to a completely unplayable experience.
Like this person has created a community game with zero players to showcase the effects. Put in some players and notice the huge drop in performance.
omg, 175 to 65 fps??? :D :D :D Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah
Ответитьi am a sausage
ОтветитьBro ray tracing is so freaking overrated 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhat a fucking bullshit, there's not too much difference.
ОтветитьIf it off more beautiful pictures
ОтветитьI think for fps games the amd 6800xt will be the better joice ATM, since it has much more vram. The raytracing Performance of rtx is just not worth it to buy only 10gb vram for 999€ to be honest. I will wait for the 3080 ti and until the prices falls
ОтветитьSo now you can See enemies by reflections
ОтветитьEven if you re not just staring at these reflections, it will feel so much more immersive to play in such a natural looking environment. Now, with the current pc hardware available, it s probably no t worth it and that is the reason why, not because you wouldn t notice or enjoy it.
ОтветитьIts not needed. Very silly difference
ОтветитьWell, I definitely don't care about it.
ОтветитьFPS >Graphics
ОтветитьLol, doesn't work through the scope. Probably too expensive, but still a jarring effect.
Ответить100 FPS DROP XDD NVIDIA
ОтветитьDefinitely not worth to upgrade GPU just because this tech. It's looking better, but in real gaming situation there's no time to get amazed of the reflection quality.
ОтветитьSometimes these reflections look to perfect to be real i would like to know if you can see the vibrations of nearby tanks in the water. Raytracing is good but in fps games like Battlefield you cant really enjoy it while playing maybe alone on servers but not during the actual game. Also bf5 just looks great without raytracing so i dont really see a point in buying it.
ОтветитьGreat video, but I don't see much of a difference. I would much rather have higher FPS.
Ответить156fps to 68fps. Doesn't worth it.
Want to see reflection of staff on staff? Use a mirror in real life.
not worth the performance hit it takes!!! they must focus more on gameplay rather than extra ordinary graphics
ОтветитьThose reflections are really going to make a difference to me running past them.
I spend zero time looking at puddles, infact, I've now spent more time looking at these puddles than I have at real ones.
I can't see big difference
ОтветитьWell i WAS upset about the rtx 3080 performance projections until I realized I just have to turn off the slight visual candy to triple my fps
ОтветитьThis is only the beginning of the technology. I overtime this will become better and more supported on future cards. Give it 5 years
ОтветитьWTF from 170 fps straight to 70 fps
This looks good but not worth the 100 fps drop
What if the games is set in a desert.. there will be no water for RtX to work.
ОтветитьWhat resolution is this?
Ответитьguys the future of gaming is ray tracing
ОтветитьWay too much sacrifice for minimal if any improvement. Nobody is gonna play the game all day and go “crap, this was a horrible experience cause i dont have ray tracing”. I could not see anything. Come on. In10 years sure it will make sense to implement when there is horsepower to do it.
ОтветитьSimulated ray tracing. Please try a real ray tracing scene rendering and see how long ist.
ОтветитьI'm good with my GTX 1070 for another 3 years.
ОтветитьCrucial step toward real life lighting. Bananas-pretty, but yeah, not quite practical yet, as w/ all cutting-edge tech. Great for singleplayer open-world though! BotW 2? :D
ОтветитьYes we have our new issue grills cooked on computers
ОтветитьRay tracing on 60 fps and off 140 wow lol
ОтветитьWow.. this is SO NOT WORTH a dime! :D :D I'm sorry for those who got suckered in...
ОтветитьThis is next gen future tech! Games will look so damn good with this, I can’t wait to post images onto reddit earthporn and other threads!
ОтветитьRTX yo mama
