National Geographic Channel, Can you STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP uploading full episodes on Saturdays and Sundays!?!?!?
ОтветитьComment section needs to show some love to Tommy Caldwell AKA Mr. Dawn Wall!
ОтветитьAlex has to be one of the most ballistic athlete there is.
Everytime I watch him, I'm just in awe.
Jimmy Chin is such an inspiration as a photographer and person. It’s always such a pleasure to see his works and even more so with world class athletes and nice dudes like Honnold and Caldwell
ОтветитьWith one Micro Trax. Sketch.
Ответитьalways wondered.. how do they get down?
Ответитьalex & tommy are the greatest
ОтветитьFull climbing footage of el cap plz
ОтветитьAmazing 😊
ОтветитьYou simply have to have balls the size of GRAPEFRUIT!
ОтветитьI saw the movie on a big screen, it´s amazingly beautiful and nerve-racking.
ОтветитьHonnold about whether to free solo or not: "Maybe you should go with your emotion rather than logic"
Chin: "Alex is one of the most calculated people I know"
Not to undermine Chin, was just funny how close those two scenes were in the film 😄
I don't get why they keep explaining how big and dangerous everything is. Everybody gets it, rockclimber get it because they have an idea about climbing and non rockclimber will think that he is bananas.
In a way, to me, it achieves the opposite.
Sentences like "one mistake and he is dead". I mean, common, you don't have explain that he is dead if he falls, but there are a lot of mistakes which will not end in death.
All the talking in this manner does the whole thing appear "cheap"....
Also, sentence like "the greatest achievement in Rockclimbing history "
Might be true in a specific point of view but again, if you have to call it this it might not be true.
I'm really really impressed by Alex, but the documentary?
Great video but Honnold is not know as an "alipinist". That's a whole other discipline of climbing
ОтветитьComparing the 3 climbs to running 3 marathons really makes you think Alex is a beast
ОтветитьHaha foot is numb. You are wearing the smallest climbing shoes for 10+ hours so far lol
ОтветитьI mean the scariest part of the climb is hanging on belay lol
So I see why he just climbed nonstop lol
Free solos an 1800 foot 5.12 big wall. Possibly the greatest free solo ever done by anyone to that point, and he’s disappointed in his performance when he tops out. ‘B-, 8 out of 10…’ That alone shows how seriously he takes his climbing.
ОтветитьLOVE IT!!!
Ответить10/10
Ответить🤩🙄😬
ОтветитьFully bolted big wall sport climbs? I’m gonna need a plane ticket
Ответить❤
ОтветитьNot to be a super nerd but 5.12 to 5.13 terrain isn't something only the best climbers in the world can do. It is definitely difficult but we even set 5.13 routes in my local gym they are definitely hard and you need to be an experienced climber but with the climbs alex has and can climb before that is not on the level of crazy hard. Obviously hard because its free solo but the grade itself isn't the restrictive part. All the best though!
Ответить👏
ОтветитьThe conversation between Alex and Tommy was kind of chilling. Knowing he’s a father these days. I just feel like (years from now) we could easily look back at that conversation in a different light
Ответитьamerican drama....sells well among americans
ОтветитьMarc-André Leclerc had the greatest free solo ever. Not Alex on el cap..
Ответитьthe sighs of relief when he topped el cap is crazy
ОтветитьWe only see the amazing feat of going up the mountain. Can we get some content on getting down the mountain? That has to be a miracle in itself- we just want to see the story of getting down.
ОтветитьAbsolute animals.... jimmy is a Legend and Alex is not Human! And not to mention all the free solos he has done that NOONE knows about!
ОтветитьI could watch Alex H documentaries all day. Always interesting
ОтветитьBest way to my climbing weekend. thank you
ОтветитьI'm here to dee someone fall
ОтветитьThe champion mind set is truly amazing to witness. Glad we (mortals) got the opportunity to see that on film.
Ответитьthat's the friendship right there!
ОтветитьSo he does one of the most ground breaking solos in history which isn’t in the film 😂
ОтветитьAlex Honnold calling that slackliner a "crazy french guy" had me burst out in laughter 😂. He might lack some self-critique😅
ОтветитьDuring athletes, it is not the edge of the unknown if you make the status mistake you're at the bottom of a cliff that's known, to be on the side of the cliff without a rope it's selfish, this other important things that can be done rather than spending your life trying to show up for your friends, maybe these people don't have families or jobs. I can't think of a more useless physical activity, then again other people have to risk their lives to scrape a bunch of people off the bottom of a rock base. You say you're doing something it hasn't been done before because nobody cares about a boy climbing a rock.
ОтветитьI met a rock climber.. he was I think in his 30s.. He liked to climb without a safety line.. a wave knocked him off the cliff and he is dead now. I think it was unnecessary to do that kind of risk-taking. I know another guy who likes to race drag boats. . his boat came up and then it spun out and disintegrated..he is dead now to.
ОтветитьSo glad I watched this! Thanks Alex and Jimmy for the inspiration ✌🏽.
ОтветитьSuper-duper cool.
ОтветитьAmazing! Now give us the FULL UNEDITED 3 HOURS of Honnald Climbing El Cap!
ОтветитьWill raw footage ever be released of alexs el cap ascent?
ОтветитьI saw "Alex Honnold" and I insta clicked. I'm obsessed with free soloing. You can't quit. Climbing down is not option; you either commit and summit your peak or you fall and die. To know you will conquer most human conditioning and a mountain and to be as humble and non macho as him just goes to show that passion with humility takes you places beyond human imagination.
ОтветитьI have watched the doc about climbing which would be a world record. I even skipped the most part because it was intense.
Ответитьwho else is edging on the unknow rn?
ОтветитьThank you, NG. The best video I have seen in 2024 by far!! Alex is a special person! We all can accomplish so much by working hard and taking risks like he does. 👍👏🤝💪🤗
