As a public defender, I can tell you this ... police departments all around the country tend to be strongly against Body Worn Cameras. They also get "accidentally" turned off frequently. Now, think of all the stuff that went on before phone videos and BWC videos, back when the only record was the police report.

Unbelievable. I don’t get it. I swear too many incidents, one after another. I get being a police officer is stressful work and I understand people have bad days but come on. You work for the public. You’re a PEACE office for crying out loud. You read and see footage of officers ruining their lives and victims lives over and over again. You would think they got the memo. When a man has his hand up don’t elbow him in the face like you’re on the UFC. And no words for stopping the face of a handcuffed detainee. Has the whole country gone insane!!?
