feel like shit just want her back (p5s)
ОтветитьThis is so awesome 😎
ОтветитьI was looking for an FFXIV guide. NOT Persona 5 Strikers :0
ОтветитьSo I keep dying on Ruby Glow 3. How do you know when the square you are in is about to explode? I keep moving either too early or too late.
ОтветитьI watched all of your guides up to this one, having just got to post-EW a few weeks ago (early Xmas present). And I'm honestly wondering if I just wasted my time memorizing all these mechs and Strats. I can't even fill a party to attempt any of this stuff, it's so discouraging I want to cancel my sub and just never play this game again. I love a good challenge, but I can't even try. There's no one around, no one on party finder. Why bother?
ОтветитьThis kind of guides are really good
ОтветитьThank you Hector, the guide very much helped me in getting down Devour, and thanks to it, did ruby 5 correctly first try. Got my clear now. <3
ОтветитьHi, i really liked your video. Might i suggest a short summary in the end? Like a quick rundown or sth :)
Ответитьty for ur work man it's amazing !
ОтветитьGreat video, gonna go prog now , wish me luck! :salute:
ОтветитьOh my 7 ruby glow mechanic 😢 + other one lol
ОтветитьFirst time i've watched one of your videos and i love you already. Clean, easy to understand and you don't talk too fast. Thank you for this <3
ОтветитьThis is a great guide hector. But these encounters are just test of memory. And its too much exercise for whatever memory banks I have left.
There was an age when I could instantly recall what I need. Those good days are long gone.
Grats on day 1 clear! This has helped my group who can hopefully clear Thursday! I love your guides as they have helped me so much and your better at explaining these mechanics!
Ответить"A pretty spicy DOT"
LMAO
If it helps anyone else who can't do CW/CCW for towers, I've found it mush easier to set high/low priority. e.g. H1/R1 has 1>2>3>4 priority and H2/R2 has 4>3>2>1 priority.
ОтветитьTruly an excellent guide. <3
ОтветитьYour voice seems so perfect for teaching stuff if that makes sense. You sound like every teacher I had that was good at it haha
Ответитьthank you for the guide, i cleared with my static from first pull and saw enrage. 10/10
ОтветитьInsane
ОтветитьOn Ruby Glow 5 spreads, please do not recommend tanks at the wall. There is by default 2 "uptime" spots on each side, one being max melee at the edge of poison.
Having Tanks be in that spot makes the boss run over to whichever tank is currently holding it and messes up the melee range for both spots on the other side.
So either you need to have both melee in the light party with the tank that currently is holding the boss or you put the Tanks in the center positions.
I still get so lost in Topaz crystal hell. Too much happening.
ОтветитьQuestion about ruby glow and dash. Do these really require mitigation to survive or does something boost the damage of these?
Been hit with ruby glow for upwards of 68k and dash for nearly 61k with no vuln stacks.
Thank you for the comprehensive guide!
ОтветитьI'm sure you've seen it, but your guides seem to be a staple to party finder as well. I'm super stoked for you.
Ответитьhe sounds like ben shapiro at times
ОтветитьGreat and easy to understand guide.
Small improvement might be having a video of he fight after, maybe even sped up, with timestamps to the mechanics show.
Thank you! Your guides are always a huge help :)
ОтветитьAlthough these guides aren’t “perfect” upon release, the quality of these guides for the first week have helped numerous parties clear. I thank you on behalf of the raid community Hector, your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.
ОтветитьDay 1 guide btw. Incredible and clean!
ОтветитьI didn't think it possible but the quality of your guides is actually increasing. I love the attention to details, like the deliberate timing of the blue flashes indicating claw attacks. I've been watching streams of the world race and, unlike other guides I've watched and needed to be present in the fight to map concepts to execution, I can very easily map the concepts from your guides to the phases I need to execute on. Great job (and so quick!), you're amazing
ОтветитьThere's an image on reddit about towers that I prefer doing, rather than melee adjusting to tanks and ranged and healers to each others. Tanks start N and move CCW, melee start W and move CW to find a cardinal tower, then one rangged group, like healers, start NW and go CCW, and ranged at NE going CW and go from there until you find a intercardinal tower. I find it's better to just react to the puddles rather than react to each other. Less room for error, especially with healers and ranged, since there's more distance to cover if you misjudge each other. That image didn't get any upvotes, but my group uses it and I much prefer it to the YOLO PF tends to do.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE GUIDES. Ex "hardcore top 10 world" WoW player but my OG MMO was FF11 back in 2004 in college. So nice to "retire" on FF14 b/c I can still get my "kill something 'hard'" fix and this boss in PF first week did not dissapoint!.
ОтветитьWhat a horrible mechanic and what a fucking horrible fight, just insta wipe on the first fight of the tier if even 1 person dies, so dumb.... And i thought Pinax was worse.
ОтветитьFor Ruby Glow 5, can it be either Venom Squall or Venom Surge, or is it always Venom Squall?
ОтветитьI’ve started exclusively linking your videos to our raid resource tab on discord.
ОтветитьNo offense, but this isnt a good guide. Its just the first one that came out and it shows lol.
ОтветитьThank you sir, A static member recommended this guide and it helped so much.
Ответитьabsolute god guide maker, ty hector
ОтветитьThanks man, you really helped me clear P5S with your guide.
ОтветитьIncredibly helpful, thanks very much for the thorough work!
Ответитьthanks

Ответитьfor the ruby glow 4 we tried standing outside the topaz (but very close to it) and we are dead...
ОтветитьOne note for Squall/Surge that my static has found is that you don't need to stack center. You have the healers take their spread spot closer to the wall, then everyone waits to bait the aoe in the same spot, then move. So for Squall it's spread, stay to bait, then move in to stack. For Surge it's in to stack, stay stacked to bait, then spread. I've found that since this requires a lot less movement it's a little easier on healers too.
ОтветитьThe breathy laugh after "for walking...watching" haha Thanks for another awesome vid for our static! Your updated Devour strat is fantastic!
ОтветитьMaybe worth a mini-guide for Ruby Glow 3:
You see that line that goes North/South that splits the floor? The first crystal to spawn on that line shows that the safe spot is the correct side (east/west) but opposite North/South.
So if it spawns on that line in the NE quadrant, 3rd safe spot is SE, then NW.
If it spawn on that line in the NW quadrant, 3rd safe spot is SW, then NE.
etc.
Youre trending whaaaaaaat?
ОтветитьHello. Sir can you go back to your "simplified" boss images that were present in p1-4s?
