Heres a point we tend to forget. Canelo and benavidez both beat a guy 2 weight classes below in their last fight. Making their potential showdown even more interesting but difficult to predict. I believe if canelo knows he’ll lose, hes waiting for his last fight. At least benavidez cant say he beat a prime canelo. But this fight was a hell of a statement.
