nice idea.  but its more suitable for slim ones like u and not for big sized ladies.  

I have a few saris and not being Indian and wearing one as often as you would, this quick method is good to know. I was wondering though, would there be any reason I couldn't sew the pleats in after pinning them, especially since I'm very klutz at folding them properly? The time it takes as well as my rather clumsy efforts has prevented me from wearing them as often as I've liked. I'm hoping I can convert my saris to pre-sewn ones that I've seen sold online.
