Someone should do a report on the length of time many people are forced to wait.
2 years to wait for a spouse or fiance is family separation.

Hello attorney, I am a Filipina who join the J1 teacher exchange program in 2018 then I went home to the Philippines in July 2022 and when I had my US embassy interview for a new visa for me to go back and finish my 1 more year as J1 however, the US consulate officer deny my visa. So I am now stuck her in the Philippines. I am married to an American citizen last August 2021 any advise what will be the best type of petition does my husband has to process for me? Waiting for a decade my parents applied for a visa last 2011. Now it's already 2022 I'm 30 now. Still waiting and the nvc still sending me wait for the interview. My dad became sick waiting for me. And my mom still waiting for me. Consider the backlog case and also my application I was 19. Waiting for more than 11 years and counting.

Im a Filipino from Philippines, Im in United states right now, Im a green card holder. I have an 11 years old daughter in the philippines, and I want to bring her in USA. She has an approved petition under EB3 visa that I had 2019, Therefor her file is under follow to join. After a year I received a message from USCIS that her data will be removed since she didn't come here in USA within a year. My Question is, Can I still use her approval to continue her papers in coming in USA? or I have to refile a petition for her?

Hello sir I have concern regarding invitations of my sister who is a US citizen already. She wanted me to visit her since she cannot no longer come home to our country due to her age. And her husband is also very old its hard for them to travel alone. So she planned to do an invitation letter for me to travel in the US to visit her . Is it possible for me to do so without requiring some documents like lot tittle or huge amount of money to present as part of the requirement ? This is my big problem if I have to continue my application they might require me this huge amount and other documents. I am now a retired , willing to travel and visit her sometimes. Thought I don't have any of this huge amount of money for show money and a lot tittle or business certificate to present to the embassy? Sir, I petition my sister and she's now waiting for an interview. My question is: Does her two kids who are over 21 yrs be qualified to bring her kids? I paid everything including all her over 21 yes old kids as well ad her minor kid and her husband. They live on the Philippines 🇵🇭 and the NVC sent me an email that there are still processing the completed documents I submitted and just waiting for an interview schedule date. Someone told me that even though they had a schedule for interview and even though I will pay for all there medical expenses, the over 21 yrs. Old child won't be able to come here in the USA and it will be denied because there are over age. Pls. Let me know I am just curious about it.

I have filed the follow-to-join petition in 2018. My son's case in documentarily complete and have been waiting for interview since Aug2020. I will be taking my US citizen oath taking next week. My son will be turning 21 this Nov. I made all the followups and requested to expedite, even told PH Consulate that i will be be US citizen but no action is being made. What is my next step here? We qualify on almost all requirements for the interview waiver, except one..that visa has expired in the làst 48 months, since B1B2 visas of my husband, daughter & I expired in 2012. My other daughter who is a US born citizen is graduating summer 2023, and we wish to attend her graduation from UC Merced. The US embassy has scheduled our visa interview in June 2024.
