Galaxy Z Fold4: Untold Stories | Samsung

It's a shame they are already starting to appear in online shops (you know which) sold for parts or repair with main folding screens broken. Seems this is still a very fragile screen, i'll stay away until the technology improves.

WORST phone ever!!! my 2000 dollar z fold4 phone inside screen broke in 2 months and Samsung refuses to warranty it. I wonder how much people money they stealing from hard working people, that's not fair they get away with it.

Terrible phone. Hinge wouldn't open fully after just a few weeks and the front screen is just horribly skinny.

Here's an untold story: The inner screen won't last longer than a year and it won't be covered by warranty. Learnt that the hard way.

Make the hinge on the Z Fold5 stronger and make the big screen close ALL the way, not a gap, then i'll buy it.

May Z Fold 3's speaker broke after 6 mos, didnt learn my lesson and bought a Z Fold 4 at launch, and now just 2 days ago, wifi, hotspot and bluetooth all stopped working. Only the mobile data is still functioning. Great phones but absolutely terrible durability.

Great product. But I do hope google working with valve to let android run steam games.

Огромное количество фактов выхода из строя шарнира на Zfold 4. Телефон критически снижает угол раскрытия. 180 градусов постепенно уменьшаются в плоть до того, что телефон не открывается вовсе. Серьёзные крупные компании на которую претендует Самсунг обязаны отзывать модели с такими серьёзными и массовыми неисправностями! Я готовлю иск в суд. Сегодня в сервисном центре Самсунг мне было отказано в ремонте и при мне были более 4 покупателей с аналогичной проблемой. Это скотское отношение.

I appreciate the efforts made by samsung but this time SAMSUNG DISAPPOINTED me.

Details:
I purchased samsung z fold 4 and in 2 months, screen got damaged. Care consider little scartch on body and say it dent, refused to coer in warranty. Miabehaviour of care executive also made me hurt.

Im filing a case and will prove in court whose fault was it.

Recommendation:
Samsung is trustworthy, im using many devices. But Z FOLD is really an experiment on consumers directly.

Samsung: The company where lose the ears since 4 years to hear what customers want. Crunching Display after fews weeks from the fold 4 and removint samsung cloud. I dont know what they do since the last years but the go Iphone but just with out customer care and without quality and failing phones. Samsung was Samsung before. Maybe now its just he profit. Line samsung cloud removed Photo saving , docs, and music backunps to reduce cost. Cool way Samsung cool way.

I have a very bad experience with Sumsung Fold 4 and very bad experience with Sumsung's customer after sale services , it LCD not functioning just after few months ( not able to connect to wifi , not able to connect hot spot, the front external screen not responding, not able to detect the Sims card and a lot of Sumsung phone users facing the same issues . The customer service team lost my phone data and yet made a policy to erase all our phone data before send in for any services , I worry same problem with come back again and again

This is why I can never leave Samsung

These new hinges are so good that they broke after half a year

I strongly suggest not to buy these folds,my zfold 4 died exactly 1yr after buying. Please Don't waste your money!!

Bought it on 9th Nov 2022. 10 months later, 17th sept 2023, there was suddenly a black line on the crease of 2nd screen and it became completely useless. I never drop the phone and it remained unscratched (verified by samsung service centre). I was denied a replacement and the repair will take almost a month. It doesn't worth it and i think Samsung lied about it durability.

They did all that, and then it's less durable than the z fold 3. Literally everyone is having problems with the 4th generation.

My fold 4 has developed a thick black line in the folding screen just 2 days after 1 year purchase.

Fold 5 is extremely reliable

The fold 4 is a beast, tablet and a phone. Does 2 functions .. let the iPhone catchup.

It is nice phone but after 6/7 months the hinge will have a problem ,phone will not fully open , it happen with me and with lot of friends.
The cost to fix that is 5oo usd ...so if you buy this phone , you have to accsptt that it will handle maximum one year...
