I’m living nicely and cheaply in the Philippines. I’ve been here since 2018, and have never paid over $100 a month for rent. I currently live in a cozy two story modern townhouse apartment in a gated community south of Manila.. paying a total for my apartment, electric, and water right around $100 a month. It’s pretty difficult to leave here, as doing so would mean paying a lot elsewhere. Plus some countries are being overrun by illegal immigration and no one’s doing that here. Shop around here for cheap bargains and you will be pleasantly surprised. I think a lot of people who come here, don’t really look for the bargains. They figure they have the money, so they’ll pay top dollar for things. That is not how Filipinos live. I live like the Filipinos, not a foolish foreigner, and don’t pay more for anything than I have to. Some people who’ve heard my story think that I am cheap and scraping by. Lol. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I lived in New York City before moving here, and my life here is tons better than my life ever was living in New York City. Here, I am enjoying my life with more free time to enjoy it, eating whatever I want to eat, living wherever I want to live, and doing whatever I want to do, more so than I was ever able to do in New York City.

Things have been changed each & every country they've mentioned triple the price.i travelled recently

Domestic flights are cheap but to get there from USA your looking at 3,000 to 3,500 round trip to phillipens and 13 to 16 hrs or more to get there not to mention trans boarding two to three times

How do you find the homes for 200$ like in Mexico, Oaxaca. Like what do you type or who do you contact to get a full month for that cheap

I'm in Turkey right now. Even the Turks themselves are adjusting to inflation combined with devaluation of the Lira. A gift shop guy told me last yr a magnet was 10 Lira now its going for 75 Lira. So it's very cheap but ya know

The Bolivian Death Road reminds me of the arteries into and out of Kathmandu, Nepal. I remember going out to raft the Trishuli and being freaked out, especially since a bus had gone over the edge and killed a bunch of people shortly before I arrived. It was even scarier at night. No highway; just mountain side roads. It was wild!

Turkey IS awesome. If you think Prague is cheap, you really need to move around in Central and Eastern Europe more. Sure, it's cheaper than Germany or Austria, but anywhere east of there? Prague is likely the most expensive place on the list. Check the Croatia coast. Or the Baltic states, real technomads dream destinations. Poland is awesome too. Really anywhere from Albania to Estonia is a real bargain.

I found many very great beaches in Cancun that wasn’t covered in seaweed.

Thailand has great food and cheap but they dont speak english so communication is difficult and they are not friendly like Filipinos i remember my friend said that vendors in a market sometimes are snob
