Was the montage of spinning spaceship crashing through buildings inspired by the Russian Sci-Fi movie Attraction (2017) ?

Side note, months ago before I knew anything about VFX Artistry, I would see the crash sequence from Attraction and be astonished by it, now, I look at it and see all the Nodes and settings that would need to be done to get that look, and the awful amount of days to Render it.
