ОтветитьDo you think this will work for a leaking freeze plug as well?
ОтветитьIs it still holding up?
ОтветитьTHAT S10 Still driving?
ОтветитьYou used the whole bottle? What's coolant capacity? I went a little heavy at 8 oz(it;s a geo.
ОтветитьI use distilled water since you do leave have in the rad so room for anti freeze
ОтветитьHow is this product holding so far any updates ?
ОтветитьSo is been 3 years. Is it still holding
Ответить1st thing to do if water is in the oil Change the oil with "USED" motor oil.. With the price of oil and you know its leaking water there is no sense of spending/ wasting $35.⁰⁰. After using the sealant and it appears to have worked you can then replace the oil with fresh clean NEW motor oil.. if that makes sense to you then save yourself some money..
ОтветитьYes it works very Good
ОтветитьWhat if the gasket is brand new but the head is warped. Will it work?
ОтветитьIf and when you use this product and it works you should drive easy for the first 100 miles
ОтветитьSo my 05 2,5 s Nissan Altima 4 cylinder won't start dealership said it was head gasket how would the chemical work if vehicle won't start it also has 114,on the dash and suggestions
ОтветитьHow long does it last before you start to see Milkshakes!?????
ОтветитьWhat if I don't have antifreeze in my oil but I have oil in my antifreeze tank
ОтветитьI have used this product and it is good/fixed. Follow instructions to a tee! I have a 4 cyl. that only has 5qt capacity of coolant. I needed ONLY 1/2 bottle! Not the whole thing. Call customer service # if you have questions....GREAT advise. Great video... maybe too much product used.
ОтветитьI have an old Toyota 2LT engine built anew. All items are new and high quality. Most Japanese, only pistons are Taiwan. The cylinder block is bored out, and new high carbon steel, quality cylinders are inserted. Cylinder block gasket metal TAKOMA. But on the gasket was smeared SHELLAC, and possibly of poor quality.
Engine - diesel. At high speeds/tork , it gradually squeezes out antifreeze. Also, with the thermostat removed, it squeezes out 1.5 liters for 80 km. At low speeds, the pressure is less, the inflation of the cooling system is less.
The compression was checked by inflating the air pressure into the holes of the glow plugs. There is a slip between the three cylinders. The big problem is that from the 3rd cylinder there is a breakdown into the crankcase and there is a weak but smoke from the crankcase durig the oil dipstick.
The question is -
Can a punctured, poorly-fitted gasket leak exhaust gas into the oil system like into the cooling system?
And is it worth it to apply sealants or change the gasket? Should I use metal or paranitic?
On a metal smear SHELLAC or is it not worth doing?
Thanks in advance for any advice. And thanks for the interesting videos.
What if the cap is milky but everything else is fine? dipstick clean, radiator fluid is clean.
ОтветитьDoesn't work I've tried every kind they have.Dont waist your time or money
ОтветитьDid it ever fail or how long did it last
ОтветитьPutting just water instead of antifreeze , living in Cali, don't you worry the water will oxidize and rust your radiator ? I thought the antifreeze also contains anti rust agents . BTW, I loved ur video.
ОтветитьDo you happen to speed with the car also and it’s still drives normal ?
ОтветитьThank you for your video it helps a lot.
ОтветитьThis one work in Toyota 4runner
ОтветитьI have milky oil should I change my oil before using the pour and go cuz I have already replaced valve cover gasket thermostat water pump on it and it coolant reservoir was flushed and refilled and oil change but recently my temp gauge sensor went bad and my reservoir had to be replaced cuz it was burning through coolant I know its a minor issue cuz I haven't really driven it since August of this year
ОтветитьI had this done and my mechanic said it would last 20K miles, well it lasted 29K and about a year. Time for a re-treat.- Thank you with Blessings. Ken
ОтветитьMost definitely you can fix a head gasket with sealer I just fixed my 97 Saab 9000 cs that has a blown head gasket used bars leaks head gasket sealer and she lost no coolant and no clouds of smoke out the tail pipe prior to using it
ОтветитьA tip I found online and used that worked well - maybe put in a lower temp/pressure thermostat to reduce likelihood of blowing out the sealant.
I ran a bottle of Blue Devil (the standard version, not the quick one) through an high mileage '87 Ranger (v6) with a severely blown head gasket. Still had a bit of a leak, so I flushed it again and ran another 1/2 bottle through it. Drove the truck daily for the next 3 years with no leak, probably 25000 miles. It was still running when I scrapped it.
(I had bought the truck from a friend who was going to scrap it - I was moving to a new apartment that week, and figured it could just barely make it the 1.5 mile drive before, and save me the cost of renting a U-haul. The Ranger would blow through / boil out almost the entire coolant system after 5 minutes of driving, needing a refill. Worked out better than expected, and I was only out the cost of 2 bottles and the time to flush it! From friends who've used it, sounds like getting it flushed really well (as directions dictate) makes the biggest difference in whether it will work or not. I personally think the lower temp thermostat helped too.
How did it hold up? People say sodium silica can seize up the engine if you got coolant leaking into oil, making milky oil
ОтветитьGreat video well done got the same result one thing never run just water coolants are also lubricant for your water pump
ОтветитьAny updates on this car since the treatment
Ответитьwhy did you change the thermostat in addition?
ОтветитьWhat do you do if your thermostat is built into the housing
ОтветитьI’ll I i
ОтветитьHow long before you add coolant
ОтветитьAre you not supposed to flush the thermostat first?
ОтветитьHow could I try this, I think my truck would over heat in a 50 min run
ОтветитьHow LONG does the solution last? That's the question that's not answered. Does anyone know?
Ответитьwhat happens if you don't have water in your oil but the oil is going into the water
ОтветитьSo now all da sleazy used car dealers will stick it in and run it through da auction and then bam, we get it. How long do this last?
ОтветитьGOD bless you bro you really helped me out 10000
ОтветитьI don't have milky oil, any leaks, weird smalls or anything, no bubbles, but, my coolant ends up in my reservoir tank and not back in the radiator. I would have to top it off every time i look at the overflow tank and siphon it back from the overflow to radiator. I replaced Thermostat, Hoses, Radiator and Radiator cap.... But still the coolant doesn't stay in the radiator.
I'm getting one of those blue head gasket tester kits and will see, if all else fails i'll try this. My Infiniti FX35, the thermostate is on the housing, so i may need to order a new thermostat just in case this messes that up.
what if my cars heater doesn’t work? will blow air.
ОтветитьGreat job..... That engine likely had/has a leaking intake gasket. Oil contamination with coolant is generally a leaking oil cooler core in the radiator or a failed intake gasket in those 4.3l Vortec engines. Blown head gaskets are rare on them and compression leaks into the coolant are usually cracked heads.
Ответитьdo you still have the s10 is the blue devil still working? how long has it been? i put some in my v6 camaro. been afew weeks and its all good. but i just wonder how long it will last.
ОтветитьThank you.
