For the first falmer armor if i remember well, only the head part and shild are heavy armor, the other one is fully heavy for sure

mind you the more defense you have the more damage you soak, this determines your exp for raising your heavy armor

dwarven armor buff, 25% more armor when wearing full dwarven armor ( the lexicon quest from the argonian on the docks of Riften next to the fishery)

Here's a better guide for heavy armor in general: heavy armor sucks until you get to heavy armor level 80.

Heartily agree with the wolf armor. Looks like they are making fun of the companions with that one. Orcish and Daedric are in that category for me too. Just look goofy. And the Bonemold armor looks like Skyrim's attempt at a medieval Predator. Ridiculous. My favs are Nordic Carved, Dawnguard, Stormcloak officer (not the regular) and Blades armors are all great. Steel plated is right up there too. Ancient Nordic has a great look to it. Not a fan of the box-y style of the Dwarven. I have a hard time deciding on the Ebony set. I know its top rank, I can see the appeal, but I am just not drawn to it. I feel like there's no real theme there, just shiny. Can't get into it.

An easier legit way is to down 13 bowls of vegetable soup, and stand next to two mud crabs outside of whiterun. Rinse and repeat

The Wolf set doesn’t look bad… the Wolf HELMET is what looks stupid

I think that this is the best place to post a question about what happened after the update.
I was between level 8 - 10 and had to fight this NPC, he was wearing a full set of Blades Armor... WTF ?? Blades you can only get from joining the Blades right ?? The Dragon's haven't been woken up yet and I have Blades Armor ??

Steelplate remains my favourite, especially when combined with a Dawnguard full helmet. It just makes my character looks like a knight. If only there was an unenchanted version of that helmet though.

I love the dawnguard armor

To me the Blades armor looks like Tyrin and Jamie Lannister used on GoT
My favorite piece is the DawnGuard set, that reminds me of the one used by Ser Arthur Dayne and the Kings Guard.
The option to change colors also got me stuck on it.

The dawngaurd suit is my favorite, it looks clean and is wellfit manly clothing, my character looks like a freaking general with a burn and a gash on his face with one eye, it looks so badass XD
