ОтветитьManic No-Holds-Barred Rock 'n Roll
ОтветитьJust when my interest in Rock started waning in the early 90s, Extreme sprung up with this masterpiece...
ОтветитьBravo bravo bravo... Hi... I am peruvian... For me... Guys are a totem.... Grazzie thanks gracias.... Thanks for your music art.... Bravo bravo. Bravo
ОтветитьOne of my all-time favorites!
ОтветитьWhat a awesome tune! And those are the demo tracks ... unbelievable. EXTREME ROCKS!
ОтветитьLoved this song back in 1991 and still do in 2023.
ОтветитьOne of the best songs ever written
ОтветитьI miss hem
ОтветитьI had the very great privilege of seeing this played live, last Tuesday night. This is one of the very few songs I've heard that sounded as good live, as it does on the recording. Well done, Extreme.
ОтветитьI just love the people hanging out the window
ОтветитьI does not get old
ОтветитьHe wrote that sitting on the toilet and recorded on a Fostex 4track. And it worked
ОтветитьLove this song....I firgot anout it, it played on sirius and I cranked it up and sang as I drove...good song 😊❤
ОтветитьNot very often you see a 12 string guitar my entire family are musicians
ОтветитьI'm not leaving you behind. If you want me to feel anything again, what do you think you need to do, and those parasitic mites can only go off of what I said, it's me who found out everything going back to August last year or before. Use would not know anything, well use still don't know and there's a lot more I haven't mentioned and I'm not going to mention.. you wanna know you can ask
ОтветитьI'm not a sentimental man, but this song never fails to make me tear up
ОтветитьThe first strum of the guitar takes me straight back to being 16 again. MAGIC. Can't wait to see them in Sydney next week,
ОтветитьAnd to think Nuno wrote the whole thing in 10 mins on the Toilet and used the demo on the album 🤯
ОтветитьNuno swears that 12 string was recorded with a cheap head set lavelear mic taped to his knee on an also cheap l 4 track tape recorder. He said he had the tape and 4 strack recorder shipped to the big budget studio they were recording the album at and then bounced it to 2 inch tape because they had trouble reproducing the energy the demo version had.
He said he never did demo recordings after that.
I think they may have been the first band that I ever saw live. I was gifted a ticket by my then boyfriend.
Funny think is I went on then to meet a new man whose mother displayed a photo of Nuno proudly describing him as her own son. (He did have a look of Nuno ((if you squinted))
The energy is amazing!!
ОтветитьCam Neely and lb!
ОтветитьCrazy how nuno wrote this white dropping a deuce! 🤣
ОтветитьAfter realizing that this is a a song about a relationship with God, I cried. I listened to it again, and cried some more.
ОтветитьBeato, Bettencourt and his 1990 bathroom sent me.
ОтветитьAll these years, I never realized the title wasn't "Whole hearted".
ОтветитьNot sure anyone can harmonize like this anymore without auto tune
ОтветитьGary Cherone, grandpa a.k.a. Harry Truman, here. I think that Michal Stipes, vocal that effectively constitutes the current R.E.M.'s drumset and bass, Is the music and dance work for your new band or side-project. Have you ever seen a Gretch hollow-body electric to which you weren't attracted? Not that a Gretch guitar has relation to Stipes, except likely he has his own equipment. I can imagine Stiipes on Gretch drumset, or Ludwig, and you applying Ballet and a Martial to sounds. Two Vocalists For Proof Of Who Broke Up The Band could be your band's name.
ОтветитьI saw these guys last night at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. Great show and Nuno Bettencourt is a beast on the acoustic and electric guitar. 🎸🎸🎸
Ответить2023 still fire
ОтветитьThis-here acoustic guitar licks are irreproduceable! I saw the first upload of Extreme in the streets, and this is a trip, too! At the brownstone front, multiplied droves appear to drop out of nowhere, after years of of water under the bridge. On the other train, the gen-Y core and I are riveted to new, mindboggling sounds of hours' taking it to the bridge, a literal bridge.

Great song and Great Memories!✨🙌🏾💖🤩👌🏾 Thank You Jesus for filling the void in my heart!✨💖🙌🏾🙂
ОтветитьNuno was one of the most handsome men I've ever seen
ОтветитьI know it's Paul Geary. But I really thougt it was a short haired Kip Winger
ОтветитьNuno Bettencourt is a god,
Gary Cherone his messenger.
Thanks to my father for introducing me to this song. I downloaded a lot of the songs he had when I was 16 and this was one of them.
ОтветитьIf you unplug, and play the way the instruments are supposed to sound, and the voices are capable of being used, and they sound this fucking good....
You've got a fucking BAND baby.
This was one of the best songs I heard in the 90s.
These guys were MUSICIANS. They were TALENTED. They didn't need anything to make them sound better.
This is a song that could have sounded GREAT as a slow blues song, a Sinatra Vegas crooner tune, or a country twang song. It had universal appeal.
Do I sound like I'm totally bonkers?
Okay. I am. I don't care. This is a great song.
The hours I spent with a 12-string trying to learn this one back in the day. There isn’t another song like this one.
