I've never understood why people call it the "engine laugh". Like, I know what a sputtering engine sounds like, and I suppose her laugh might sound vaguely similar? But there's nothing unusual about that laugh, especially compared to the kettle/window wiper/unholy shrieking that I've heard from other VTubers.

I didn't put it in the video but later she explains that her new skinsuit will be her main one, while the old "Retro Doki" will be used less frequently. However, "Retro Doki" remains a part of her, and she'll continue to sell its merch and use it for projects or cameos.
