Hello, today I received my acceptance for the Ph.D. in Criminal Justice at Liberty University. I was wondering, is reading the Bible a requirement for every course? I'm not a religious man so I was just seeing how much of a role the Bible will play in the program. Thank you.

I'm considering Liberty; however, looking over the courses, I see it's a lot of papers, and some even want you to use the Bible for some references? I've never been to a college with so many papers in weeks and use the Bible in the papers. Anyone who has taken online classes, any tips or advance?

I am also in the LE field and will be starting my Ph.D. in Criminal Justice-Homeland Security in January. Hearing you speak on this topic gave me a better understanding of the program. I'm currently a police officer and wanted to know about the classes. Is it wise to take more than two classes while working in the position I'm in? I'm seriously just considering 1 during this 8-week term.
